I repair coffee machines and vending machines for a living. We just recently had an "offended customer" (I use the world customer loosely, because most of our coffee machines are free-to-use; we make our money selling the product to businesses, who then give it to employees/clients/visitors for free as an amenity) who was upset that the label we had on the Columbian Light Roast was misspelled. It was supposed to say "Colombian", as opposed to "Columbian". She was offended enough to file a complaint with her employer (who was giving her the coffee for free) and call our offices to demand the label be changed to the correct spelling.

These people are insane and WANT to be offended. If you try to talk to them like rational adults, they will just find something in your words to become further offended about. Just punch them in the throat.
