I don't.

>Why do you need 32gb RAM for?
either
>What do you need 32gb RAM for?
or
>Why do you need 32gb of RAM?
yours is wrong, dummy

because systemd

Cache everything

16GB? What do you need 8GB of RAM for?

Running ffmpeg passes in /tmp instead of on my SSDs

Esl go home

compiling with 32 thread cpu (although 64 GB would be better)

Because 32gb of ram is the new ram sweet spot you poorfag.

I probably need more to be honest. I work with multiple 3D applications open at a time and they can take those 32GB close to its limit. Thinking about upgrading to 64GB.

Because I'm not poor. If you think computers can be "too fast" or have "too much RAM" you're suffering from poorfag brain.

I have 96GiB of RAM. Only because my servers have >256GiB.

I have 64GB of RAM

64 GBs of RAM
Semi-permanent RAMDisks and I never, ever have to worry about running out of RAM when I have shitloads of processes running, RAM-heavy editing ones included such as 3D modeling, image editing, etc.

Helps prolong the life of your SSD. Macfags with 8/256 iphone macbooks are able to kill their SSDs in as little as 1 year especially if they heavily rely on rosetta 2 x86 emulation.

I'm also guessing Apples superbTM engineering means that those soldered-down SSD don't have any cooling at all?

Firefox and chrome at the same time

The Apple cools it (Apple products are cool)

Erogames with mods.

uses 1mb on my machine

For multi-media and design tasks.
It also makes web browsing and general usage nice and smooth.

Going to have to try that one day.

I have a shitty 1tb hdd I've had for years that I use that for, doesn't make much a diff in ram or ssd unless you're maxing them out for some reason
