Can you actually pass field sobriety tests or are they just a simple way to get fucked? Never seen anyone actually pass one

Did jury duty recently and they were told not to call them tests since there's many factors that could influence the result either way. I think they had to call them field assessments or evaluation or something. All that to say they don't matter when it comes to the court
depends on the tests
if you fail the visual follow my finger/flashlight test, tell them you have this eyehealthweb.com
for the mental ones (alphabet backwards, estimate 30 seconds without counting out loud), you can literally practice at home
for the physical ones, just do them fattie, they'll burn calories.
anything else, just stall for time.
>in 2014 mountain view california only had 1 breathalyzer for the entire city and it took over an hour to bring it to my location.
>by that time it was almost 6 hours since my last drink
stone sober, they tried to escalate expired tags into the maximum anal penetration.
must've been quota time for the lazy fuckers
Not legally obliged to participate. Just don't
get fucked, at that stage the officer has decided you are not cable of driving and want to confirm suspicions, I would ask to call someone to pick me up, the officer is trying to make the roads safer so do everything you can to met his reasonable goal.
No one ever passes one, because they only give them to the obviously drunk and debilitated. That way the dash cam footage can be shown to the court and prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are off your rocker.
Think they’re just buying a few more minutes to be 100% certain you’re fucked up. When they’re already 99%. I failed
they still do these?
everywhere ive been has been using breathalizers for decades now
This. it's literally a dog-and-pony show for Juries. a test (breathalyzer or blood) is required to charge you in many states, so the assessment isn't necessary, it's just to really drive it home.
Huh? I got pulled over (hours after having had my last drink) on St. Patrick's day - they asked if I'd had any, I said yes, I did the field test, passed, and they sent me home with a repair order for a broken tag light (which I didn't even know was out, so actually, thanks guys).
