lycanthropy. a man who compartmentalizes his own illness and genuinely believes himself to be a wolf. he is so infatuated with discovering who the wolf is but because he has successfully convinced himself he isnt, he doesnt know he is chasing himself but when he is fully insane and disassociates completely from his normal alter ego. the truth terrifies him and he commits suicide.
I sound disorganized and it isnt anything original but I wonder how you would go about this story.
