I do not support excessive force and there is a proper escalation for every situation. However, this video provided a person recording the use of force with no background of the incident, how he was resisting and prior events leading up to the capture or custody. We need more details.

If there is someone who commits robbery with a weapons spec and there is reasonable suspicion to belive the suspect still has the weapon and the suspect continues to attempt to grab somthing from his pants, shirt, wasteland or pocket while being detaind and continues to resist. That force is absolutely justified. Not saying that's what's happend here. There are a lot of unfortunate scenarios that can influence this force.
