>be me >18 >used to work at major makeup retailer (sephora) >working the register whenever someone comes to the register to check out, you're supposed to ask them who helped them find the items they're buying >ask lady who walked up to the register who helped her >she points at coworker walking in my direction >"oh the girl with the braids?" >"yea" >coworker overheard and confirms she helped her
so far, so good, right?
>ffw like an hour or two >"user please come to my office" >confused.jpg >sits me down >lists a bunch of stuff im doing wrong >eventually brings up interaction about the girl with the braids >"user, why would say that?" (with an angry tone) >"say what?" >"call her 'the girl with the braids'" >"what's wrong with that?"
this bitch says this shit to my face:
>"thats the same thing as calling her 'the black girl'" >mfw >in pure disbelief this bitch actually just said that to my face >"how else was i supposed to describe her?" >"just say her name" (still angry) >mfw i know damn well this bitch knows no one reads nametags
I caught into that from hearing stories like this. I never mention anything about the person and come off a dumb. I would intentionally space out and if they bother me I start again from the beginning. "Hi how many help you" yup I'm a robot that gets paid to do something you can do by yourself if you knew ur way around the store. Go ahead and call me stupid,my pride died when I was 30 working retail

I too dont like women sometimes user

That's not women you fucking incel, you just worked a shitty service job. Of course they're going to get on your ass over the dumbest things, that's one of the many reasons why people typically hate those jobs. Also, you were working with a nigger. Of course she's going to complain to your boss and try to get you in trouble over anything she can relate back to race, that's one of the many reasons why people typically hate niggers. Grow up and get some pussy, it'll do you good.
well, after this conversation, she decided to send me home that day theres a policy where whenever you leave the store at all (even to take out the trash), you have to empty your pockets under a camera and in front of a manager to prove you're not stealing anything. ive forgotten to do this multiple times, but without any consequences i forgot to do it when i got sent home i clocked in the next day an hour or two into my shift, got called into the office again she says because of my 'recent behavior', 'constant coaching', and because forgetting the pockets thing is "zero tolerance" (bullshit), i got fired on the spot

OP, it isnt so much women but the dumbass faux sensitivity that is just in place for corporations to save their own asses. They probably dont actually give a fuck but because it is their job they have to. Otherwise it is their asses on the line because they didnt take into consideration twitter speak seeping into the wokeplace. Im latino, if you described me as that latino dude or that mexican dude it wouldnt fucking matter. I am a socially anxious pussy though so that may have something to do with it but in the grand scheme of things it doesnt fuckinf matter, if she was black then she was probably some twitter retard that tweeted "ugh fuck these racist crackers" either during her shift or rifht after her shift because that is all she consumes, far left radical brain dead groupthink retard juice.
Leo Clark
it was kinda ridiculous how controlling they were over what you could say, which you can clearly see from reading the story. it was pretty shocking how little i could actually speak my mind and give my opinion on anything and not get in trouble for it. my fucking boss even tried to pull something similar to the braids thing one other time. she tried to claim i was calling a customer poor because i agreed with the customer when they said a certain perfume was expensive. it was so unbelievably fucking stupid

It is one thing to be sensitive and understanding of a person's situation, empathetic of their standing in life, it is another thing to become everything you are against and be just as bigoted, close minded, patronizing and condescending as those "right wing blue collar hick racist conservatives" It is racist to say every minority is a criminal, uneducated and lazy, it is not racist to say "Ashley has braids" but dude, retail is fake. It is part of the job, I never worked retail because I am a mentally ill weirdo but retail is about smiling even if a customer is being a POS. You dont think that same corporate fakeness can't be a double edged sword? Especially a high end brand like sephora, it is about keeping the brand name intact and homogenizing the experience whether you are in dallas, bumfuck louisiana, or chicago. Like I said, it is the faux sensitivity that is just these corporation and their corporate culture saving their own asses. In a capitalistic society, they couldnt give a rats ass about what twitter says, historically they havent given a fuck if a child makes the product, as long as it is sold and makes a profit. They are just making money, it is business, dont take it personally user.
>>it isnt so much women >>the dumbass faux sensitivity Corporations wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't for jew manipulation of fags and women to want this.

OP this is your wake up call to get out of retail. Try to learn programming or something where you don't have to deal with people. Also if you are on Any Forums, you're probably a nerd, and almost every software engineer is a nerd. Set yourself on the right path now and don't wait until late 20s like me.
