If you're seeing this post and thought I have shit taste for liking heineken, what beer would you recommend drinking instead? I also like blue moon but 90% of the time I'm drinking heineken.

Hey OP, Heineken is one of my favorite beers also, nothing like it ICe fucking cold....nice and skunky and tasty, but refreshing...man.
Anyway. if you can find it try SeaQuench by Dogfishhead.....it is by far my favorite beer so far, its a little pricey though but worth it if you get the chance.
the next beer I would recommend is Tank 7

I've been working my way through a 5th of Jameson tonight. Westmalle Trappist Ale is probably my favorite beer I've tried. If your in the USA a fresh Pliny The Elder is next level.

Nice, that's closer to my speed, but I've gotten more found of beer as time has gone by. Its cliché these days but I've found IPAs to have a nice profile depth.
What's your whiskey of choice? I usually stick to Rye Whiskey. For scotch I loved Monkey Shoulder. Its a beginners scotch but damn is it delicious.
