yes it does, retard. it encrypts it three times over and each node it passes through removes one layer of encryption. now, if you use unencrypted protocols like http then the final request that the exit node makes is readable and can be fucked with. but the same is true about VPNs! if you use protocols with no encryption or host authentication, the VPN server can MITM you just like a tor exit node. the ISP of either of those can MITM you too. as can their ISP. the solution is just to not use shitty protocols. use https everywhere (actual end-to-end encrypted, not kikeflare mitm bullshit) or use hidden services (.onion sites), which do host authentication and encryption even with http.
