What a dumb girl bringing a gpu to the swimming pool...

I'm having a strange problem with my PC ever since i replaced a case fan. So the case fan on the back started making loud noises and i replaced it a new one. But the old fan had a molex connector and got power straight from a cable coming out of my power source. The new one has a small 3 pin connector and the only place i could put it was on a spot on my mobo. One issue is i already had a fan connected there so i had to buy a fan hub(?) that has 4 slots. Anyway i now have 2 fans drawing power from the mobo. Everything so far is okay except ever since i did that my PC shuts down whenever i'm in a demanding game, like it just suddenly loses power. I'm 100% it's not a temperature issue since this happens when the PC is cold or hot. It can happen while loading a game or after 30 minutes of intense boss fights. It never happens outside of a game. So i'm thinking the issue is that once my GPU starts drawing a certain amount of power, something else maybe the CPU doesn't get enough because of the added energy draw of a second fan?
This literally never happened before i got the new fan. My PC would get hot as fuck playing new games, burning even but it would never shut down. Can the fan be the problem and would it be fixed if i found a molex adaptor so i can hook it up like the old one?
the 7600X beats it in everything but games, the 7700X beats it in everything. as I have said before the 5800X3D gives you a year headstart on performance and will be fine with a 4090, alder lake and the rest of Zen3 cannot say the same
