What router do you currently run? What firmware is installed and how have you configured it? Is Wi-Fi 6 a meme? Optimal routers for OpenWrt: openwrt.org/toh/views/toh_available_16128
I'm trying to install PfSense on a FreeBSD VM but it's not working because it gets stuck on boot. See pic related. I know its because I have my Primary vDisk Bus set to "SATA". If I change it to VirtIO or SCSI, it boots to the installation media, but the installation cannot detect any disks. This is why its supposed to be on SATA, but then boot is broken. Can anyone help?
>What router do you currently run? PCEngines APU2C4 >What firmware is installed and how have you configured it? Coreboot with seabios and ipxe. The OS is OpenWRT since I can build it with the imagebuilder to support my hardware and custom network configuration out of the box. >Is Wi-Fi 6 a meme? WiFi 6 is about making better use of the currently existing channels (2.4/5GHz) by allowing more data to travel on those channels. How that applies to you dictates whether it's a meme or not.

>Is Wi-Fi 6 a meme? it puts a little 6 over my wifi symbol and that makes me happy soooooo, no.

I haven’t noticed any significant advantage with Wi-Fi 6 yet. Just use a fucking Ethernet cable.

Anyone?

>Is Wi-Fi 6 a meme? No, Wi-Fi 6/ax is a big improvement over (baseline) ac. While the real world performance isn't going to be as crazy as the router manufactures claim, it is still a big improvement. Not including ac wave 2 in this comparison since very little uses it.

>upgrade from openwrt 19 to 21 >see option to use wpa3 >neat.jpg >activate it >none of my devices can connect to my AP anymore aside from my phone running Lineage ebin i thought everything supported wpa3 by now
>i thought No, you didn't - that's the problem. You just mindlessly regurgitated the Any Forums hivemind, and are pikachufacing that you are - as usual - wrong.
