yup. we have full central ac and heating but bought inlet ac's for 3 windows for $140/each and made our money back in a few months. instead of cooling 6 rooms we just do the room we're in and use the central cooling kicks in if it goes over 80 in the house

right. i put one in the dining room window and it works great cools the entire first floor. why bother with the upstairs bedrooms when nobody is in them during the day and the basement doesnt even get that hot. also just one in the bedroom window for when you sleep. just started doing this last year and saved so much. its great
