i will go from a SFF case to a normal case anons
can i put my SFC psu for the time being into the bigger case?

3080 or 6900xt, the additional vram makes the 6900xt seem better, but then there's always the AMD drivers being shit meme

>i5 12400/F
>+cooler
Again, rope thyself, shill.

Depends on a lot of factors. For pure gaming I'd go 6900xt. For everything else plus gaming I'd go 3080 but only the 12gb version. Price cuts coming in September which will probably be the last big price cut until the holiday deals. That's the best time to make your decision then.

Just picked up a VAIO PCV-RX755 for ten bucks. Plan to rip out the older hardware and make a bit of a sleeper. Anyone have experience doing something similar? I'd imagine quirks like the mid-mounted PSU make things a little tough when installing more standard hardware.

This is what I've ended up with, mostly bought in the last two years I'd say except for the mushkin, seagate, dell 1440p.

How bad is a TG Sidepanel compared to a non Glass panel

Anons, I finally settled with a used RX 580 4GB (no mining) for $104 shipped,
I am a turd worlder, and the used gpu prices still sucks compared to a first world country even after all the wait,
How much is it in your country anons? Just wanted to know

>RX 580
~333eur so around the same in $

how is that a bad computer
i wouldn't change anything unless next gen is good for the price and/or you need a game to run that won't run on your hardware which isn't likely to happen for the next couple of years

All depends on price and whether or not you really really want to play cyberpunk with raytracing turned on

13500 + B760 + DDR4

7600x + B650 + DDR5

Which one and why?

he doesn't have enough ram

>omg those zen 4 prices are outrageous!
>7600x and 7900x same price as zen 3
>7950x $100 cheaper than 5950x
>7700x $50 cheaper than 5800x (name suggest it's a lower tier sku, but both are launch 8 cores and some leaks suggested the 7800x will be reserved for a vchache sku)
And that's despite 2 years of """inflation""" which would give them an excuse to raise prices
Yeah, I guess 7600X would be better at $250, but I don't get the outrage over the prices

3080 12GB for sure

lol then just stick in more
although i can't think of a thing i use that uses up more than 16 gigs

>using speccy
When I saw the thumbnail I was expecting a build 5 years older than that.

5500 XT or RX 590 for budget gaming for my spare build? 590's way cheaper by around $30 dollars but consumes power like no other.

Is it a good idea to have a mitx board in a full size tower with a 3slot gpu on the pcie slot
Or will that shit just break

I was saying the same thing but my CPU was going up to 90 last night playing squad on ultra. Even on low it was hitting 82. My room was very hot though because my AC is out, it was like 78 or more. Would an aftermarket cooler have helped in this situation?

There's only so much a cooler can do, but in general use the stock cooler is fine. Though yeah, more intensive tasks are going to demand a little more. You could get an AK400

ryzen, intel 13th gen is end of the line

I see a used 4gb for $160 and a new 8gb for $167 from a shady chinese vendor. The 4gb's are mostly out of stock.

So you'd rather pay $200 now than later?

b650 doesn't do pcie 5.0 gpus
may as well buy cheap intel box until zen 5 becomes a thing

Aside from the usual droneposting I think it's a concern over total platform cost. AMD has said B650 boards /start/ at $120 and you need DDR5 which starts at $150 for absolute bottom tier bins. All in all a decent 7600X setup is going to run close to $700. For that money you can have a 12600K with a 360mm AIO and a kit of B-die today. Obviously we have to wait for benchmarks, and AMD has sandbagged in the past, but It's not clear to me that the 7600X would meaningfully beat that system. Meaning performance per dollar is basically the same.

The best part is intelfags spent years calling people poorfags for not buying overpriced top end shit, and now they're getting outraged over price cuts.

A 3090Ti barely saturates PCIe3x16. It's going to be a long time before cards benefit from 4.0x16 let alone 5.0.

So Zen4 is even more expensive, lamo

Got a 5900x and holy shit its so fast OCed to 4.9ghz all 12 cores. On windows 7. On Nobara its just as fast. For you lazy fags who miss 7 look for generation2 builds of win7. Inb4 enjoy your viruzez no nigga I was running a 2600k for years before this upgrade on a vanilla 7 no updates.

>78 or more
Unless your room was 78C, that's still a relatively cool room. A budget third party cooler should have no problem with a 12400F in a 90F room. Intel's stock cooler is bad.

Windows, stick with Nvidia. Linux, you can choose either. I've seen 3A titles on nvidia on linux.

Nigga wat that shit aint bad at all its cuz your on winhoes 10 youre getting fucked by bill gates
