I think some people just find me attractive enough that they make an effort to approach me despite how awkward I am
this has led to me getting used in some unfortunate ways in the past so I'm more defensive about certain things now but I never really learned how to approach people on my own terms

meh I would not at all be surprised if there was some correlation between autism/similar atypical neurology and dysphoria/gender non-conformity
