>recent trouble?
QRD? Or a link?

big trouble

what happened ?

fuck off, retard. nobody gives a shit about whether or not they include non-free or not. kys.

it's a meme on here to add "recent drama" or similar to fish for comments

>he doesn't know

They switched to systemd.

>fired multiple devs high IQ for trannies
>turns out trannies can't into development
>asking for devs to return
>devs told debian to fuck off with their woke faggot shit
>need people to maintain distro
>can't because they thought trannies would be able to code
>turns out they can't fire them without it being a hate crime
>stuck in perpetual woke-loop
>now depending on Ubuntu for help with backporting
>Cannical says, "sure but add these proprietary blobs"
>Debian has to say yes since they fucked up their own dev team
>Debain is now basically Ubuntu Testing

Never had, not interested. Debian's philosophy on development doesn't interest me, nor their pace on it/package maintenance. People care more that it just works, rather than if its free or not. And users that know/care can go ahead and find the free ISO.
- casual Gentoo user, leaning more on the *BSD side of things

I spent years on BSD and got tired of the wired crashing.

Fake news nigger.

dafuq are you talking about?
Sauce?

That's almost exactly why I'm not running a *BSD right now.

Why is this thread posted weekly?

Debain just works. It's probably the most jest wekz distro as long as you don't want it to just work with new shit

theyre going to add in the nonfree drivers debian.org/vote/2022/vote_003

Wasn't everyone just getting the half-official images including the non-free firmware blobs anyway? I don't see the downsides. Either you need them for your hardware to work, or you don't - in which case they aren't loaded anyway.

people will stop using debian around the same time they stop using emacs and making DOOM 2 mods
