I have a poor friend. I was visiting him. I accidentally left my phone charger. I asked him to mail it to me: this won't work because his entire budget is €2 while a letter costs €3.
Jesus fuck why am I friends with such an irresponsible idiot. He blows all his money on bullshit on the first day and then has nothing for the rest of the month.
who cares, you're both broke to me, like petty cockroaches fighting over a crumb, pathetic that you call yourself his friend when you're such a judgmental faggot, I bet you have the shittiest wagecuck job and hate your life, I'd just kill myself if I were you
Kevin Mitchell
So edgy. I bet you imagine yourself wearing a black hat and slinging' edgy remarks to robots you shoot.

The actual problem isn't the fact that he's poor, but the fact that he refuses to listen to financial advice from a richer guy.
Christian Carter
How about you give him the money to ship it to you since you were irresponsible and left your things behind. I never leave my things behind. You should take advice from someone who's more responsible than you..
Chase Hill
I already paid for lots of things of his and I'm not expecting to see that money back
Benjamin Rodriguez
cry about it. if you really want it, paypal him some funds to mail it...
or can you not afford it xD
Alexander Ross
I just did, but this entire thing introduced one day of delay (no paypal, traditional bank transfer), which can be decisive about me getting the charger before or after the weekend.

Obvious troll post and everyone getting baited is truly retarded

Well you should never loan a friend money. Giving them $10-20 to eat for a week when they're on hard times is one thing. Loans to friends and family just put stress on relationships. But I'd also argue that if a friend is constantly asking for money they probably aren't a friend worth keeping. My buddy had to cut off his own mom finally because he realized she only ever wanted money from him and really offered nothing in return.
Juan Howard
Well, the good thing is that he never actually asks for money, and every time I give him money/buy things he's thankful. I mean, not in the way I would like it to be, but thankful nonetheless.

>Jesus fuck why am I friends with such an irresponsible idiot Noone makes you be friends with such people on daily basis. However, from my experience not losing contact with supposedly losers, have paid back to me dearly. You never know what happens to people in the future. Source: I am a quite successful businessman and a lawyer and have friends ranging from millionaires to deadbeats. Why? - because at least once in my life I had was in a dire situation where I literally needed a help from underground world, and if I did not have more criminal friends, I would not ever have access to that.
At the end of the day it all depends on your personal ability to keep your life on track, and at the same time having the mental capacity to sometimes deal with some less fortunate people. Personally when I got into money, I had no qualms to help a poor friend out. I made sure he got the point that I am not a support agency, but that I am reliable. Now, if I e.g. killed some asshole business sopponent (kek, I wont. should tho) that poor friend would be the first one to help me dig a grave in a forest, no questions asked. Do you understand, OP?
>Well you should never loan a friend money. Giving them $10-20 to eat for a week when they're on hard times is one thing. Loans to friends and family just put stress on relationships Agree. If you give money to friends, give it without expecting it back. I personally have shelled out quite a lot. Only when I have gotten rich and I have not yet been in a situation where a person has not somehow helped me out in return. Even years later. Good example - I prepared expensive documents and made calls for an older dude who was struggling with his countryside business. Gave it all for free (would cost him about 1000$ at the time). Now if I want to spend a day or two at an nice countryside motel deep in forests, I can get it free and be a VIP first served. The fact that over the years that motel went from shithole to a really nice glamping place turned my investment of time and own money into very good opportunity. I still visit the dude once a year and just chill in nature near a lake and do some fishing. This is why you help people, and this is why you sometimes help people who seemingly are not on the right track.
David Stewart
I sure do haha. But that's kinda keeping useful contacts.

>I accidentally left my phone charger >friends with such an irresponsible idiot he owes you nothing, his money is his to do with, die from a horsecock socialist faggot
Grayson Phillips
>he owes you nothing Actually he does, I lended him some money that I'm not expecting to ever see again
Oliver Moore
>lended money to a friend people already said this but dont give money to friends if you want it back. you were irresponsible. accept that consequence, loser. or buy a new charger and let your "friend" have an extra.
Elijah Russell
Not op, but i agree, unless its stated explicitly that it is a loan its more of a general good act between friends. You pay it back later through your own ways. My friend spots me for food a lot and I help him out with favors a lot. And we talk when we think somethings unfair, which op seems too afraid of ruining the "friendship" to do. Just say hes an acquaintance you get along with, not everyone is a friend.
Matthew Green
You're the one who forgot your phone and HE's irresponsible? Send him the money for postage.
