yeah the filesize limit is 2MB on Any Forums but 4MB on most other boards
it was 4MB before 2012, also threads on Any Forums also had an image limit of 250 and people could post every 15 seconds instead of 30 (although it is 15 seconds with a pass, both used to be half that)
apparently it cost too much money to maintain servers with that capacity, but I find it hard to believe it costs Hiroyuki that much money that he can't let us have a 4MB limit
it's so frustrating having to resize so many images and convert so many .png files to .jpg
