Honest opinion dude. Do you really want porn threads here all the time? I used to come here all the time when I was in high school and college, and the magic is just kind of gone. I check to see what's happening here out of magic, and maybe to see if something stupid and funny will happen like gigga puddi and even the recent cat gif shit. I'm not a yellowposter but I share their sentiments. I'm so tired of seeing nothing but porn, celeb threads and people posting their penis. Do you really like that stuff? You're certainly misunderstanding the entire point of this whole thing. In the past, containment boards have been created as a way to help mitigate a certain type of post taking over the whole board. Why the fuck do you think we have /mlp/? That dumb shit used to get posted here all the time. It wasn't just one thread going, it was multiple, and that crap was getting posted in threads that had nothing to do with it. There's a rule against posting mlp shit on this board specifically, and I don't see you chimping out about that rule. You're trying to bring politics into this, but I feel that it has no role in this situation at all. There's so many porn videos shared on this website that we had to create an entirely new board specifically for worksafe gifs and videos. We're not doing that to censor you, we're doing it because the actual content we want to interact with is getting washed away by waves of drivel and spam. Everyone that comes here faps, there's no secret leftist movement looking to set up 1984 style censorship on the shit you can post here. Back when I was looking into all this a couple years ago, I stumbled across a completed Fiverr request for a bot script that would essentially create new threads once the old one was at image limit. It would pull randomly from an image folder, check against images in the previous thread, and then start a new thread with the new image. Its a shame I can't find the link in my IRC chatlogs, but I know I saw it.
