I was to inform everyone that Corey is currently in a hospital. However my thread was swiftly deleted? Wtf? Which rule did it violate? This is outrageous.
MAJOR HAPPENING COREY HARRISON REPORTEDLY HOSPITALIZED (FOR REAL)
latest updates from UMC Hospital:
As said Corey had a car accident which causes a polytraumatic open fracture of his femoral bone. The fracture has already been fixed by surgeons however a new complication came up: A sepsis due to bacteria in his blood caused by the open penetrative wound.
The doctors started an empirical antibiotic therapy with Gentamicin and Ciprofloxacin because Corey is unfortunately allergic against Vancomycin, the first line therapy.
They suspect the strain currently growing inside Coreys blood is S. Aureus although it might also be Haemophilus. They started IV antibiosis.
Also Corey is currently receiving intravenous Midazolam for sedation and Norepinephrine to stabilize thim hemodynamically.
Currently Corey is no longer conscious after his blood pressure dropped rapidly.
He has been moved to intensive care unit for critically ill patients.
The fractured femural bone has been addressed by surgeons already but currently the raging sepsis is threatening Corey not the fracutred bone. > major update from UMC Hospital > Corey has suffered from major complications after his surgery. > Unfortunately a multiorgan failure occured due to septic shock which could not be controlled in time > Corey is currently not conscious > Corey is still connected to Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) and an external breathing machine > Physicians suspect severe hypoxic brain damage > It is now up to the family to decide how to proceed....
