The Jews use plane crashes to sacrifice people to moloch

I fly every two weeks and I keep praying for a crash that never comes.

try it and see how well it works.

fwiw some planes do use chutes to decelerate.

This isnt kerbal space program, making a plane bulkanized lime this would make it twice as expensive

Over 99% of in-flight failures are landable so you're carrying around a fuckton of extra weight (thus burning more fuel and killing more people) for no reason. Also what the fuck are the pilots supposed to do

Wake up and turn off auto pilot.

not to mention parachutes only work for certain kinds of failures. theyd need to be maintained and deploy properly too. keking at the idea of accidentally deploying mid flight and torquing the plane

i could explain it to you but its a lot of effort and not worth it

>Fire in the toilet
Waht do?

Increased and unnecessary points of failure.

You'd need a lot more than 2 parachutes for an entire cabin full of people and luggage retard.
And every inch of a plane is already used for something. You'd have to ban carry-ons and perhaps limit luggage.

Imagine if there was a virus and all the unlocked and came down at once and the parachute was also off

Some GA aircraft have parachutes but using it is an absolute last resort thing when the plane is out of control. You can still get very bad injuries from the impact. This type of event is almost nonexistent nowadays with how aviation safety has progressed and in basically 99.99999% of emergencies you are better off gliding in to the nearest airport or gently putting it in the water.

This could have been considered decades ago, but aviation and modern jets have become so increasingly safe that it is unnecessary to deploy such a costly solution for incidents that are literally one in a million.

>thousands of plane crashes
almost all occur during or around takeoff and landing. Parachutes need a certain amount of altitude to deploy

There is already a solution, airlines and aircraft manufacturers are just too greedy to implement it.

most plane crashes are into missiles, into mountains, etc.
your retarded parachute idea won't save anyone

when planes fail, they're usually still capable of gliding down to safety

Because planes need structural rigidity and some modular lego plane would just fall apart kek.

>what the fuck are the pilots supposed to do
Well, it's clearly their fault that the plane is crashing, so they deserve to die.

Honestly, even airbags in the back of seats are a better idea than OPs dumbass idea.

Between the extra structural systems needed and the parachute storage, that's a lot of space lost to fit more passengers.

git gud

lmao this looks like some dahir insaat crap

>Why isnt this a thing?
cost.
>OPs dumbass idea.
it's literally used on some light aircraft, you dense cunt.
