I was born in 1990. I remember people having a lot more fun back then.

The 80s were better. 90s was a bit of an aimless decade although it was when 3D gaming first kicked off.

People became properly sedentary in the 90s because it was the first mainstream technology generation. In the 80s we spent more time outside, socialising, burning shit for entertainment. Sport involvement was higher in the 80s, social groups more important, no one had phones.

It was the generation that did nothing, Kurt no brain started a sjw dress wearing feel feel wave that ended with pissed off white people like kid rock, korn, and lik Bizkit. Their generation hasn't taken the reigns from the previous and are the abstract generation of failure.

Imagine the 2000s but without everyone owning a PC and smart phone. PCs were only used by super nerds and couldn't even really do all that much, so you had to do other stuff for entertainment.

00s, 90s, 80s, and 70s got nothing on the great 60s.

I honestly feel sad for Zoomers. Their music is god awful with zero creativity and emotion. The males do not have individuality and have the same broccoli haircut. The female Zoomers look plain and boring, no style, no nothing.

The 90's was a time buzzing with individuality and creativity for all upcoming artists. Entertainment flourished with new innovative ideas, even porn was amazing. All people were accepted and nobody cared if you were gay, nobody cared if you were black. We only care about the newest toy craze. Zoomer toys are highly dull and can't be interacted with and get tossed to the side within moments. I could go on forever

It was easier to get excited about shit you thought was cool. You didn't have the world at your finger tips so there was more of a motivation to actually get off your ass and go find shit to do. It was much easier getting to know chicks too because the only option you had was to actually approach them and hopefully get a number on a napkin. It was much easier to get away with mischief and shit too. Far less surveillance, you could get in fights easier and it wasn't a huge deal. I dunno. Shit was less gay.

There were no made up problems fueled by media. People knew why they were doing things, had interests, behaved authentically, had meaningful conversations with one another, and there was a belief the future was bright. There was a generally accepted right/wrong; things were more absolute.
...at least in general. I'm a normal white middle class guy, born in '84.

fuck you you gaylord, emo bands like taking back sunday, static lullaby, the used, paramore, mcr, all american rejects are good stuff. fuck you

Weed meant you could get chicks, and chicks meant you could get weed.

ten years of amazing experimentation of music, movies, vidya, a decade with no cellphones nor social platforms, skating, stunts, roadtrips, concerts, socializing irl, meeting girls was easier.
