Depending on appartment size of course

boring answer, you probably spend more time on either laptop or desktop right? just tell us which.

actually on my laptop since I don't play as much vidya as before

Laptop if you're mobile, desktop otherwise.

laptops
i really despise wasting money on a gayming desktop
i should have gone for a one of the newer thinkpads

Depends on your lifestyle. If you don't leave your room then desktops.

If you're the type who needs to upgrade all the time for bleeding edge performance, get a desktop. It's going to become ridiculously expensive chasing the newest CPU/GPU in laptops.

The average person should probably get a laptop. You can still have your desktop peripherals if you want, but you have a full computer ready to go and easy to take with you. Even if you don't travel, you still have the option.

I can't imagine doing any real work on a laptop, unless you hook it into a docking station (and you may as well just get a desktop at that point). Does anyone actually do any programming with one screen?

nta but both is the only correct answer, desktop at home laptop when I go out, to the office, traveling etc. there's really no reason to limit yourself to just one device

Why isn't he helping his friend?

>weak laptop to use like a netbook/ssh
>strong desktop for everything else
is this so hard to understand
