How do I know my pc is grounded and doesn't take out all components?

I want to get a 13900k and not have to get a new cpu for 5 years.

GPUs haven't been used to mine Bitcoin for about a decade now
And Ethereum is going fully proof of stake by September 15th
Unless minerfags find something equally profitable to use GPUs for, they will flood the market within months regardless of the price of crypto

waiting right now is just asking for trouble
inflation is at an alarming high and won't stop
I've basically upgraded everything except my case, PSU and GPU over half a year ago
if I would've waited I would have paid MORE right now for the parts and would've had to endure that time with my old hardware
only thing I'm actually waiting for are the new GPUs

You're likely to be good on a 13400, a 13600k if you do OC it, or at the most a 13700 maybe K. That is, unless you actually have an use for the i9 beyong gaeming

That's then and now is now, I built a new PC around when GPU prices first started dropping, but building one RIGHT NOW does seem a little rushed.

Ok i know jackshit about brands when it comes to gpus, so is this a good model as far as 12GB 3080s go? Reviews seem to praise this model with the only issue being the loud fans - which i don’t mind - and it’s going for a relatively decent price right now.

normally I would've agreed with you
the sweet spot is actually around 2 weeks before new GPUs drop, rumours plop up that the new nvidia GPUs run at twice the speed for the same MSRP as the old generation and people panic sell their barely used GPUs for ridiculously low prices, sometimes even some stores
but given inflation being really huge right now nobody should expect any significant price drops
maybe they spike up the MSRP so high that the current GPUs increase in price
the fuggin' PS5 even got a price increase recently

you have a 3 pronged power cable plugged into the power supply and your power outlet (which should be grounded if you didnt nigger rig the wiring in your house yourself)

Is there a resource somewhere compiling which DDR5 RAM uses chips by which manufacturer? I know you can somewhat tell by speeds but surely someone checked at least some?

Is it just a group of Chinese people capitalizing on zoomers who want RGB on their RAM for cheap?

I just see no reason to buy OLOY RGB RAM from some new Chinese YOLO spelled backwards brand when Crucial offers non-memed sticks often cheaper with the same performance.

On an unrelated note, next-gen ddr5 chips are being released as we speak. The new ddr5-5600 JEDEC sk hynix 16/24gbit a-die ram is sampling in China/South Korea in oem sticks and can clock even better with lower latency than anything sold by corsair/gskill/kingston right now.

I think the US sent more money to Ukraine in half a year than they did to Israel in years. And that's a good thing.

3900X is good for multicore tasks, but weaker in games compared to 5800X.
