One week that I left linux and went back to windows

I must have some mental retardation

why did you leave linux?

gaymes

>I must have some mental retardation
yes, yes you do

Dual boot or proton.
I hate windows too, you're not alone.

>I must have some mental retardation
no you are just white and not used to deal with pajeet trash systematically
just use windows on your dedicated gaming machine and linux for everything else

in 2010 when i first tried loonix i always went back because "why would i not just use windows 7?"
i almost miss those days
anyone who defends nu-windows should be lobotomized

>Dual boot
is this actually viable?
>wanna play game
>have to restart PC
>load up game
>realise you want to check your emails or something
do you switch over? probably not, it'd make sense to just have all your shit set up on windows as well. then at that point you might as well be using windows

Why not dual-boot? Put Linux on one drive and Windows on another.

>realise you want to check your emails or something

In most circumstances you can just do that in the web browser.

It's viable but most people find it annoying and end up settling for WSL or some other kludge.
If you have some spare cash and need Windows, the most practical option is to simply use two machines.

>he doesnt have two physical computers, one for gayms and one for other things
My condolences.

most everything works on linux
the few things that dont can easily be fixed by running it in a windows wm with gpu passthrough
its much less of a pain than dual booting and even a subhuman chimpsect zoomernigger like (You) can pull it off with ease since there are youtube tutorials specifically targeting zoomers

I personally had my stuff set up on both OSs.
But it is a hassle restarting just to play a game.

Proton is a more convenient solution but obviously some games are gonna be scuffed.

Although it does work pretty well nowadays.

I think most games work on Linux nowadays except maybe the latest CoD games, idk if those work

dual boot is more viable than wine. just never connect your windows partition online and it's perfectly isolated. transfers your drm free exes with ntfs-3g. thats how i play games these days

I installed windows 11 on release, 5 minutes later I was back on linux. windows is terrible man and I don't even use linux for that long, maybe 2 years or a little bit more now.

;

I have dual boot, but going to windows is painful, so i just stay on linux

Linux is shit and that's why I use only Windows. Anyone who doesn't run it headless is a retard.

Linux is better than windows for me.
It just load stuff faster, use less memory, run all the software i use and even have some nice small shit, like not being a pain in the ass to get the C/C++ libraries installed and set on the project.
Also ffmpeg is slightly easier to use on linux for some reason.
