It's written in C. Most of this code is about problems in C and has nothing to do with what this function is actually doing. You could probably remove 90% of this code if you wrote it in Lisp.

GNU faggots don't know how to code. Personally, I find the style of coding used in the NT low level systems (i.e. nt kernel, ntdll) to be the clearest and most readable.
Linux kernel coding comes in distant 2nd followed by literally everyhing else and then GUHNOO style comes last.
