I got a misdemeanor DUI in NY but they work on kind of a scale unless you really fuck up. It got dropped to a violation and I lost my license for 3 months. Next time misdemeanor no matter what, then felony.

I had a drunken meltdown two weeks ago, 1:1 with menager and I was off the rocks. Arguably I had my reasons because my parents house got fucked up in a flood but that was just going on while I was on a bender. I think he could tell I was drunk but coupled with actual crisis it must have smoothed out. I sobered out for now and am helping dad with the house but manager's reaction was not to fire me but suggest less hours or maybe unpaid vacation. Really weird shit almost makes me think that I'm actually needed at my work.
