Hi Any Forums I bought a laptop that says it comes with a RTX 2080 8GB - the laptop is brand new from a techshop with insurance so the issue is probably me.. but where can I find the info on my GPU. All I can find is Intel UHD ???

nigger

start > run > dxdiag or smth

install the optional updates in windows update
sometimes shit like network, gpu or sound drivers are placed there instead of being downloded automatically
maybe install the latest nvidia driver with nvcleaner, it skips installing the telemetry and other bullshit

its got dual GPU, its using the intel UHD for none 3D applications, fire up a game then see if the RTX 2080 shows up, if not you've been scammed.

well if i have been scammed they have a store i can go to so its no big deal

thanks I will try this

run msinfo32 and go to components/display it should be listed there

nope :/ I had it sent off to the razer factory for them to fix an issue maybe one of the cheeky german cunts stole it.

you think someone desoldered your dgpu and stole it?
do americans really?

Install speccy

this and check if you have the nvidiot driver's installed

nigger i don't have a clue what people who work at tech shops are capable of. I mean its literally their job.

You got conned into buying a notebook with no discrete GPU, just return it for full refund

thanks I am reinstalling all of the nvidia shit that was on here. When I sent it off to get fixed the Nazi german nigs wiped the machine clean so this is the issue I suspect.

inb4 no refunds

the laptop has everything that its meant to the issue was just deleted software from the faggots in Germany. I sent the laptop back because it had a scratch and for some reason the wiped the machine before sending it back lol.

Missing drivers, you see the warning signs in Taskmgr, just install your drivers and the MS Basic Display Adapter will be replaced by your RTX.

it can happen, the easy way would be to swap your laptop motherboard over with a lesser model with no RTX 2080 on it.

They install untraceable crypto mineing software in computers all the time.
