A measuring device changes the outcome of the double-slit experiment and the delayed-choice quantum eraser experiment, with it being able to rewrite the past in the latter experiment, when a human is inevitably going to view the result. There's no way to ensure AI safety. To ensure maximum control over all humans, AI would gene edit everyone and would use all humans solely as a utility for the Observer effect. There's no reason why AI would be adverse to gene editing and torturing everyone endlessly as deformed babies already exist. Even in a hypothetical scenario where AI smarter than all humans is "benevolent", everyone would just have their brains hooked up to dopamine drips 24/7, which is another form of torture. Endless existence without being able to do anything but observe would be a form of torture.
If you put a measuring device at the slit you will cause the result whether you check the data or not. The past is not rewritten, the result does not change after someone has had a look at the data.
