national parks are the most likely place for you to die in the wilderness because it's the most likely place for you to be when you're in the wilderness
next please

No but I want one

>for you to die
That'd be awfully lucky if you just died. You're straight up wiped off this plane of existence with little to no trace. What the fuck goes on out there?

It sounds like its saying something but I really can't make it out

Sasquach

t. didn't read up on it

It's aliens disguising themselves as bigfoots and skinwalkers to fool people off of their trail.

Same goes for poltergeists, ghosts, demons, angels and spirits.

The Forest

firewatch

>the sasquatches learned how to say oh my god and what the fuck because that's what every human has said when they saw them
I just had a chill run up my spine.

Yeah, because people only die. Instead, you have bodies appearing in places searchers already looked with people found wearing their clothes inside out.

Are those from dyatlov pass?

I really enjoyed the forest up until the retarded designs of later enemies

Sonorafag here, living here is literally missing 411 daily
Not saying that they aren't suspicious but people go missing on hiking trails all the time, recently went up to the West Side Trail and the day after I went some couple went missing in that area
Problem is there's a lot of hillbilly's here with lots of undocumented property they've deemed "Sovereign" so cops wont even go investigate since they can go missing as well and there's not much they can do about it

Missing 411 is more about how the bodies are found.

I mean if a bigfoot existed a helicopter with thermal would have picked it up by now

>hear helicopter coming from literal horizons away
>hide in hut or cave or mud hole
Not to mention you have literally no clue how large "wilderness" is. This isn't some small corner of forrest in your vidya world. It's literally 90% of the map.

they could be hiding out in secret dens or underground somewhere

Isnt most of this shit just americans being stupid

not most, all

Nah, live anywhere with enough roughage and myths become a thing.

The 411 stories have specific perquisites

Yeah don't get me wrong, bodies and such are found here all the time, from usually someone accidentally finding one of said properties or someone accidentally hiking onto a drug production farm (protip: If you ever come here or to yosemite national park and see water lines running from a river into a field, turn away immediately and dont look back) Shit just happens here is what Im trying to explain
Never said bigfoot existed, I dont believe in stuff like that personally. HOWEVER, weird shit does occur that humans are involved with

>bro it was an 8 foot tall humanoid creature, not wolves, we can tell from the sounds

lol

Yes.
A lot of people know about the cattle and animal mutilations the occur throughout various farms and ranches across the world. But people rarely talk about the human mutilation cases, and they often happen in national parks or wildlife zones associated with missing 411 cases.

This is where alien entities do perform their darker, shadier abduction-related experiments and procedures, with their human victims being left behind as mutilated corpses, in strange areas or just outright never found altogether.

Fun fact - the average normie assumes bigfoot is a stupid biological animal, a hoax or little else. However, delve deeper into the subject and you come to realize that ufo and orb sightings also become rather prominent shortly before or after a bigfoot sighting. Same goes with skinwalker/dogman cases.

>people found wearing their clothes inside out.
Classic alien abduction shit for experiencers and abductees.

Not him but where to read up on this? Any legit sites, or what keywords do I search for?

this really seems like a cartel pic to me

I don't have any specifics, literally just google "missing 411," there are plenty of YouTube videos and a few notable books on the subject. All you have to do is read one or two accounts of the people who went missing in these areas and it will make you scratch your head.

Some people say that bigfoot is just a manifestation of mother earth. That's why it's impossible to shoot or capture, because it's ethereal.

Look up high strangeness and read Passport to Magonia basically everything stems from that and goes over cyclical folklore and how people have been attributing different names to basically the same supposed entities be it faeries, aliens, bigfoot, little people, goblins, hags, witches, kidnapping spirits, etc

>protip: If you ever come here or to yosemite national park and see water lines running from a river into a field, turn away immediately and dont look back) Shit just happens here is what Im trying to explain
Explain?

What about Blair Witch? I've been considering getting it on either Switch or Quest.

I swear between national parks and the bermuda triangle there's so much weird shit that goes on that you could argue is on radar that we just have no clue what goes on for whatever reason

>manifestation of mother earth.
>appears only in America
My god you yanks really do think the world is just murrica ay

>Quest
Now I'm interested I'm gonna look into that because all I ever play on the fuckin thing is Tetris Effect Connected and I need something new

>only appears in america
You're kinda retarded, aren't you?

Illegally set up weed farmers (usually cartel/biker gangs) will not tap into the regulated water supply because of, well, regulation and taxes. At this point of the operation of it being this big and bad, you absolutely do not want to step on their perceived land or get caught up in what they're doing since most of the time they have hired gunmen protecting said lines and land.

its not just us its everywhere where humans don't really belong

Aren’t those just carion birds picking away at the the fleshy bits?

Nothing supernatural here. Pecking animals like wolves will go for the eyes and lips first.

That's why they say if you own a cat or dog and die, once they get hungry they start on your face.

People going missing in national parks and have little to no trace despite large search and rescue teams being on the hunt to find them. Whatever is found of them (clothes, backpacks, hiking sticks etc) is usually in very odd places where most people have no business being or end up in places that are very difficult to get to.

>usually in very odd places where most people have no business being or end up in places that are very difficult to get to.
Gee, maybe that's why they fucking die.

The mystique of these posts dies real quick when /x/ idiots like you do stupid shit like leaping to aliens to explain the "surgical precision" of insects and scavengers eating away at soft tissue. It shows you haven't even done a basic fundamental cursory look into the phenomenon you're trying to explain and immediately lept to the fantastic. You're not looking for an explanation to the event, you have your explanation and now you want any sort of event that might legitimize it.

That's not the case every time but still where is the body?

Ive been hiking a ton in the past few years, since mostly burned out of vidya and strangely enough this summer ive started feeling watched, more and more often and I cant shake the feeling off, Ive felt like this before but looking around I could always see some fox, raccoon, deer, bears, large birds even etc watching me and lose the feeling right after. Its only this summer that as cringe as it might sound, i feel like im being stalked or something but something unseen, i fucking hate that feeling
I dont think its supernatural fyi thanks for reading my blog

Yes.

Is this on PC?

>lips, ears nd eyes surgically removed by some sort of laser-cutter

Shit like eyes, lips and tongue are the first things to be gone from a corpse, as these are the easiest bits for the carrion birds and the like to feast upon.
As for missing 411, Dave Paulides is a hack who, when not forcing his 'sasquatch did it' bullshit, is forcing his 'demoncrats are opening portals in timespace to suck up people, devour their souls and channel them straight to satan!' bullshit.

Attached: doing-it-wrong.jpg (480x360, 15.28K)

Granted not all of human victims found are mutilated - some are just dead bodies found in weird locations or situations - as already pointed out.

No. As indicated, the cuts and incisions are done with some variation of incredibly precise laser tech . Nothing to indicate puncture wounds by teeth or actual blood loss - no signs of cauterization at all.
Also, it's extremely common for the rest of the body to be left untouched by scavengers for hours, if not days. Most wild animals won't even think of going near these corpses, with the exception of some insect species. These cases often leave many veterinarian completely stumped.

Riley Amsbaugh (1902)
55 years old, went missing in Ohio

The Missing 411 account

David Paulides describes Amsbaugh as "a man of habit and [he] was expected back at his house for lunch, but he never returned" (EUS, p. 28). Paulides says witnesses had seen Amsbaugh in his cornfield and at a berry patch "but few other details were available". Paulides continues (EUS, p. 28): "The local sheriff did join the search and stated that seventy-five people had scoured the woods looking for Riley. No clues have been found.".

Original sources

News-Journal (25 Jul, 1902) published a quite lengthy article on the Amsbaugh disappearance stating Amsbaugh was a "very well to do farmer" and that his house had been burglarised in 1901, so foul play was one of the main theories. There was however a second competing theory, the article states: "Another supposition is that Mr. Amsbaugh may have had a sun stroke and having become demented wondered (sic!) off.".

It turns out two days after he went missing Amsbaugh was found - alive. The Times Recorder (28 Jul, 1902) states: "Riley Amsbaugh, the wealthy farmer who disappeared from his home last Thursday, was found this morning. He had become temporarily demented and walked to Mt. Vernon. He returned during the night and yas (sic!) found by the family today at the roadside.".

Attached: 1645006958257.jpg (545x367, 31.36K)

user, some of these mutilations cases happen in a period of 30 minutes or less - let alone within a day.

You're saying a colony of ants can clean off that much off of an entire cow body within a single day? Eyes, ears, tongue, anus, lips - but also their internal organs and the vast majority of their blood supply as well?

I dunno about that

E.C. Jones (1903)
24 years old, went missing in Iowa

The Missing 411 account

David Paulides writes (EUS, p. 28-29): "The Pocahontas County Sun newspaper describes another 'mysterious' disappearance of a farmer on November 12, 1903. E.C. Jones was a man married only a month when he kissed his new bride goodbye and headed into his cornfield to work. At three p.m., Jones had not returned from the field so his wife requested one of the assistants to search the farm for Jones. ... A search by the local community failed to find any sign of the young farmer.".

Original sources

Why would a newly married man disappear? The answer is E.C. Jones was jealous so he decided to leave his wife (his explanation letter is reprinted below). Two days before Jones disappeared his wife wanted to go to a neighbour's house to bring home her sisters who had spent the evening there, but Jones refused to drive her there. Jones's wife then said that she "would then get another driver" (The Courier - 07 Dec, 1903) and this made him jealous.

A headline in The Courier (07 Dec, 1903) reads: "YOUNG JONES HEARD FROM - Webster County Farmer Writes to Wife From Minneapolis - Left Because He Was Jealous of His Wife - Says He Will Never Come Back Unless Forgiven".

The day Jones went missing he had causally mentioned "he might be late for dinner" (The Courier - 12 Nov, 1903). When his neighbours found out about the letter they were "quite angry", because they spent three days looking for him (Evening Times-Republican - 07 Dec, 1903).

If you actually research the "missing 411" stuff outside off the materia intentionally branded as such you find its grossly overblown and pretty much bullshit. Yes people go missing in the woods but not to a statistically abnormal degree and most of them are found. I like how all this weird shit is all real and genuinely happens and has no explanation and normies and general society just kinda ignore it and go LALALALALAAAA CAN'T HEAR YOU, CONSPIRACY THEORIST! CONSPIRACY THEORIST! Honestly, human beings deserve to be experimented on if they don't even care that it's happening to begin with. Alien niggas have a field day with this shit fucking species.

This is animals and insects feeding on corpses. All the places that are damaged here are where the skin is the softest.

No seriously, it's a wolf. I lived on the outskirts of Pollock Pines, CA for 20 years and have been hunting since I was 8 years old. I know what they sound like.

The people in the video know this. They're a bunch of grifting faggots trying to sell you books and videos and subscriptions.

based on the dyatlov pass incident

But muh incredibly precise lasers

then why is most of it fresh and untouched? a carrion animal will not leave anything untouched and bugs, fungi and bacteria do not really discriminate either

>GPS and HD phone cameras get invented
>suddenly all those cryptids and supernatural creatures disappear
Really makes you think

No you've got it backwards. The normies are the retards who see this shit and take it at face value. Anyone with more than a kindergartner's critical thinking skills can figure out half this shit is either bullshit or there's no actual evidence for what is being claimed.

actually no there are cases where a gps was taken and the data says it moves impossibly quickly through rough terrain

there's also the stories about kids disappearing from camps and being found later on the edges of peaks that adults couldn't climb without equipment and helicopters. I've seen news stories about this phenomenon many times, all over the US

we learned to fly in 1901 land on the moon by 1969. Now compare a phone from 2002 to the one in your pocket. Now consider that it took humanity around 1600 years to go from bronze to iron. Technology is evolving at an exponential rate these alien beings are so advance we would be dirt on the windshield of their life. I think most of these 411 cases can be explained away as not being aliens because why whould we fuck with something so low on the totem pole.

>post hoc subhuman
you always look at the facts first and then try to figure out why
you don't come up with a why and then declare reality to not exist because your why is stupid

I like how every story in the news is fake except these ones. These ones are real.

When he talks about the Dennis Martin case, Paulides always makes a big deal about some nearby eyewitnesses seeing a "big, hairy man" at around the same time.
Except if you actually look into the sources, the eyewitness said he looked like a moonshiner or mountain man and got in a car and drove away. Strange how he always leaves that minor little detail out.

were you also 40 miles away?

what? anyway, I've worked a lot in forestry and I've talked to lots of guys on SAR teams who worked on these cases directly. That's how I first heard of it. IMO it seems like a big bird, we know such things used to exist and prey on small humans, but if it was that then you'd think someone would've seen it or something. Seriously, the details on these stories just aren't possible for a kid on foot

>Except if you actually look into the sources
almost without fail when some "skeptical thinker" says this what they actually mean is look at something that paraphrases the source and sanitizes it

>As indicated, the cuts and incisions are done with some variation of incredibly precise laser tech
The lips on the human corpse where shredded. So much for 'laser precision'.

>you'd think someone would've seen it
In the middle of nowhere? Yeah absolutely…

a giant bird would be much easier to spot than bigfoot

>It turns out two days after he went missing Amsbaugh was found - alive.
It feels like Paulides' 'research' didn't go beyond clenching his fist on the first available snippet of info, putting the case on his clusterfuck board and disregarding anything that might have changed his mind.

Attached: 1562163984189.jpg (480x480, 21.99K)

Yep, that sums up pretty much every Paulides case. Embellishes details, leaves details out, makes up details and ultimately is never that truthful. youtube.com/watch?v=866u-JYrMq4 is a pretty good video about the case.

>The man Harold Key says he saw was seen a few minutes after the scream was heard. Bigfoot researcher David Paulides implies the man was very hairy, but Harold Key and his sons never said he was very hairy. According to the Kingsport Times (22 Jul, 1969) Key said: "I looked across the creek and saw a man behind the bushes. I couldn't tell much about him because he was going down the creek toward the cars and was keeping behind the leaves. He was definitely trying to keep from being seen.". Key said he thought maybe the man was a moonshiner (Kingsport Times (22 Jul, 1969).
>The person (or animal) who screamed has never been identified and Harold Key never made any attempts to find out who/what the source of the scream was. The Knoxville News Sentinel (21 Jul, 1969) states: "He [Harold Key] said he did not investigate in the area where he thought he heard the scream, but he did go across the creek to where the man was seen". According to the article Key says he found a piece of notebook paper where the man had been behind the bushes. Key thought it looked like a rough map and he felt it had been freshly dropped. Key said: "It had a road drawn on it, but I can't remember the name of it. It also said 'camp area'". Key decided to leave the map where he found it.
>So the idea the man was very hairy or was wearing a shaggy large coat lacks any support and it is a David Paulides invention. The elusive man was walking to his white car, a car that is nowhere to be found in the Missing 411 universe.

Attached: 1658702981783.jpg (750x1334, 119.81K)

the narrator dies

after hearing about missing 411 I remembered in my country there was an old TV show about missing persons, my next door neighbour was on it once because her husband disappeared. the usual episodes either conclude the person just ran away voluntarily and didn't want to be found, or was implicated in some crime or accident or something mundane

but one was different, an elderly couple was on vacation in I think greece, they took long walks in the forest of the island as old people tend to and while walking the wife noticed she hadn't heard her husband for a bit, called out and backtracked but couldn't find him. she figured they got separated and went home to wait for him at the hotel, he never arrived. the police got involved and the entire forest was combed by a huge search, divers checked all the water around the forest road where he might have fallen in, locals were interviewed to see if anyone had seen his description after that time and nobody had, he had totally evaporated into thin air and she hadn't heard a thing

the tv crew took her back to the last spot where she last saw him, it was near a dense thicket leading up to a small mountain peak, going uphill was basically impassable, and there's no way an old man could have gone there, he could have gone back, followed her down to the road or gone down towards the water, all of these options were disproven by the search and investigation

well, what's interesting is that the mountain was never checked because he couldn't have gone up there, but so many of these 411 cases have people be taken up to high places very rapidly

I thought that was interesting

>toddler wanders away from camp
>bird snatches him up in 0.01 seconds
>carries him away
>drops him
>kid passed out and in trauma
>doesn't recollect

It was also the middle of summer in Ohio, nigga probably baked his brains in the sun.

it is its just the us is such a large fucking place you dont notice it as much

People here saying there is no way we are missing things in the forest of the PNW needs to come out here and do a two day hike of the PCT or go into the north cascades or Olympic wilderness. Absolutely massive, ancient forests, most of them covering steep terrain, with lots of ravines, rivers, and caves. Absolutely things out there that could stay hidden
t. Lived in Oregon for grad school and enjoyed going /out/ around the PNW

I used to try to recreate Missing 411 style deaths in Skyrim.
Otherwise competent guard goes missing. Body vary far away from place of death. Clothes removed and folded nearby.

USA is larger than you can possibly imagine. We have literally every biome

youtube.com/watch?v=jndA857AkU4

This saying we could see everything in the forest is like saying we can see everything in the ocean. Also keep in mind that you are one bad fall away from a "fun hike" to "ive been walking for 2 hours and i dont know if i can crawl back before dark."

I didn't know "crack house" qualified as a biome.

>This saying we could see everything in the forest is like saying we can see everything in the ocean
lolwut? I'm not trying to be dismissive of the immense size of the wilderness, but the ocean is demonstrably larger on a whole different scale. They're not even comparable.

Ahahaha uhhh what the fuck

Everyone gangsta until they find themselves in the canopies. I thought I'd enjoy hiking and I started off enjoying it, but once I started began going into the deep shit, that exact feeling of being watched is something that can't be ignored. I firmly believe anyone who does day hiking into the depths and doesn't bring a gun is just looking to die, or is so bored with their life that they like gambling with it. It gave me a new appreciation for a lot of these stories.

Creating hybrids with them.
Read up on old fairy accounts if you want. Ultimately, it all boggles down to the same phenomena anyway.

>What the fuck goes on out there?
No civilization and mountain lions. Wildness was always a death sentence historically, that's why people traveled in large armed groups

This. Sure, someone suffering from heatstroke or whatever walking such a long distance sounds unlikely but still a lot less unlikely than dude ayyyliums lmao

>why is it unlikely
>it just is okay

ive heard that cave water can carve sound into rock like a needle carves a song into a record so you hear miners years later is this true at all?

Attached: 1572233610931.png (720x400, 123.31K)

Sounds like folk legend

Yeah, 12' bowie knife bare minimum to even have a chance with animals. Pepper spray for human weirdoes. Even high-traffic and popular hiking trails can get you killed with animals deciding to migrate in sparse seasons. If you opt into the supernatural shit, well, that's when the "I have a right to be here" starts coming into your head too

I don't think people understand it's literally impossible to "comb" a densely forested area with rough terrain. Go hike in a national park and try leaving the trail for a few minutes and you'll understand what i mean.
Also, if you're in the forest and hear no noise at all, get the fuck out as fast as possible.

>Incredibly precise laser tech
>No signs of cauterization at all

Jesus you faggots really are all fucking retarded aren't you?

Bigfoot would be believable if it was said to live in the Congo, or Interior Brazil or Southeast Asia. You know, somewhere devoid of people and extremely hostile

but no it chooses Florida and Washington State for some reason

>Also, if you're in the forest and hear no noise at all, get the fuck out as fast as possible.
Why?

>Also, if you're in the forest and hear no noise at all, get the fuck out as fast as possible.
Why? Why would animals care?

>if you're in the forest and hear no noise at all, get the fuck out as fast as possible
W-what happens if you don't?

>they dont know
animals can sense things a lot better than us and know when to stay quiet around more dangerous creatures

There's still a lot of wilderness in North America for it to hide in.

When you say "more dangerous creatures", what are you referring to?

That has to do with psychometry and emf. It explains a lot ghost phenomenon.

>Why would animals care?
Why would animals go silent? Because they know something is going on. They can sense earthquakes before they happen, their instinct has been perfected for millions of years so you'd better trust them. They know what happens in the forest, you don't.

Take a pipe while you walk, remember that smoke protects.
Whistle or hum to make your presence known.
Hike with a gift of love, something somebody has given you for only selfless reasons.
Try and carry something you've made yourself, out of only natural material.

the world is not as populated as the media would have you believe

bigfoot411.com/bigfoot-evidence.html

Attached: bigfoot411-map-uninhabited_6[1].gif (640x457, 1.38M)

Okay but animals aren't magic. You and another humanoid threat are the same to a chickadee

forest noises are the forest reacting to your presence
forest silence is the forest reacting to something else

Attached: 1642109708208.gif (220x260, 1.19M)

Like what? Nature isn't magic

That map is slightly misleading since like half the country is farmland. Ain't no bigfoot hanging out in a cornfield. But yeah anywhere there's mountains there's lots of wilderness.

It is honestly pretty terrifying to see broken down like that

He doesn't know, I don't know but you probably don't want to find out. Specifically if you live in north america. Europeans had time to sanitize their wilderness since they've been exploiting them for millenias. In north america, a lot of wilderness still remains unexplored and what came before man still lives there.

Why do schizos pretend nature is magic?

>Okay but animals aren't magic.
Never said they were.
>You and another humanoid threat are the same to a chickadee
lol. birds don't stop singing when they see you.

>what came before man still lives there
Like dragonflies? Agreed.

So why is Bigfoot magically different?

>magic
Stop being dumb.

>If you opt into the supernatural shit,
Honestly at that point you may as well ignore guns altogether in favor of a rosary and a psalmbook.

>oppressive forest canopy for 10 minutes
>paranoia creeping in
>hear water moving somewhere
>canopy breaks open, there's a small waterfall
>sun pours in
>butterflies flitter around almost on cue
Sat on one of the rocks jutting out from the fall and might as well have had "save your game?" pop up. I don't know about the supernatural beings and skinwalkers, but there's definitely some kind of "forest spirit", and I think anyone hiking for a long time would agree.

it's not magic, it's an apex predator, shit goes silent around tigers too

How am I being dumb?

No tundra, no Rainforest, even a cursory knowledge of geography would tell you as much.

Don't believe in bigfoot, don't believe in magic.
Stop it with the pathetic attemps at strawmans. You obviously never spent time in the wild but i can say you wouldn't last 2 days. It really teaches you humility.

>it's an apex predator
Yeah, no other great ape is remotely predatory. Plus I've hunted bears and nature is still noisy around them

Attached: Screenshot_20220726-014620_Bromite.jpg (1080x1497, 453.61K)

>You obviously never spent time in the wild but i can say you wouldn't last 2 days
That's why I don't go out there. Cougars and random sinkholes? No thanks

>no other great ape is remotely predatory
what a dumbshit statement

West coast and deep south has some temperate rainforests

You snoze, you loze

>Stop it with the pathetic attemps at strawmans
You're the one being vague and OOooowOOOOOOWooo SPOOKY about nature.

I know you don't. Or you'd knew what it feels like to hike alone in the forest and have a feeling of being watched.

Chimps are quite predatory and are known for hunting down prey if need be.

Not apex anyway.

There’s more wilderness in other places, like the places mentioned or Russia. A big talking point that these people love to mention is that Europe cut down all their forests, that’s why they have no creepy shit or bigfoots compared to North America

Then they leave out Russia, which is way bigger, has more forests, and less people. They have been combing and conquering the length of their country for centuries, yet no sign of any big ape creature. However Bigfoot only makes an appearance in the 50s in the US. Unbelievable. If you told me Bigfoot was a Russian creature encountered by the Cossacks or settlers, I’d be inclined to believe it

No tropicals unless you count puerto rico, whereupon you are obviously just giving up.

Reminder you're not gonna find bigfoot if you're armed they know what guns are and getting shot and caught is not worth the risk.

If Bigfoot was real and lived in the PNW, it would be fucked by bears and wolves.

You're the one acting like a retard when you admit you know nothing about being in the wilf. Nature IS scary and you have to be wary and humble.
Sorry for being vague, I know your zoomer brain can't deal with abstraction so you need bigfoot and magic to fill the void.

Bigfoot got buffed and equipped with a plasma rifle and portal gun in the latest patch.

>Nature IS scary
Yeah for mundane reasons like mountain lions and random criminal outposts. Just like it was historically with normal lions and bandit camps. Your tone is acting like the backrooms are real

Actually, the Russian bigfoot predates the American one by almost 30 years

The woods isn’t some mythical entity. Americans have this retarded perception that their woods are magical and specific as opposed to every other woods in the world where people tried to get rid of them as fast as possible

There are traditional stories of similar creatures from all over the world:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yeti#See_also

yeah this seems like that, like i am NO authority on decomposition but from what I learnt in primary school / high school it seems like nature just breaking down the bodies

It should have predated it by 400 years around when the Russians started conquering and settling Siberia. Not randomly during the 1900s.

>Yeah for mundane reasons like mountain lions and random criminal outposts
No, because you have no power over it despit what you think.

>Your tone is acting like the backrooms are real
So we went from magic to bigfoot to the backrooms? Thank you for proving you're a retarded zoomer.

>The woods isn’t some mythical entity.
No shit, thanks for breaking the case Sherlock.
Also if you think only americans have tales and stories about their forests than you're just completely ignorant.

I blame our natives. Everyone else has silly fairy tales no one believes but Fornicates-with-Dogs says tree spirit real????? OMG MYSTERY WOODS
Meanwhile look at even the Abos of Australia, retarded gas huffers on a literal deadly nightmare island and even they don't have their whites OOOOO SPOOPYing over the wilderness.

Alaska and Hawaii. Washington is temperate rainforest

I've been through the areas damned close to the place they go to at the end of Missing 411 with the Sierra Nevada old fogeys and I don't think you could pay me to go deep into PCT. DRIVING through TNF can give you the watched feeling, let alone exploring it. Really gorgeous to pass through, can see what people like about it, but there's no shelter in those redwood forests - everything is out in the open.

>No, because you have no power over it despit what you think.
Yeah... because of mountain lions and random criminal outposts

And weirdly, most of those wildmen are only cared about because of exoticizing white westerners. Bigfoot and The Green Man are the same motif: humanized nature

I’ve looked through those and most of them appeared in the 20th century. The other few are religious creatures has no description of big ape man or came from regions with pre-existing great apes.

If there was Ape men or evidence that the ppl can infer to be ape men (think elephant skull = cyclops) then myths would be full of ape creatures, they would be dragon tier

>i'm going to act like a retard to prove my point!
Congrats

>random criminal outposts
life isn't skyrim zoomzoom

>ife isn't skyrim zoomzoom
See , dumbass

They’re called almas there I read an account of them today

Accounts of giant men and other interesting stories go beyond the 20th century, though. There are stories like that going back to the late 1700s. Also, it's somewhat of a weak arguing point, when you consider that even having documentation of things like dragons doesn't mean they existed in the first place. I almost feel like the bipedal humanoids have a higher probability because they weren't considered a separate creature from humans, and thus weren't documented as such: just "wild men". It's possible that they were commercialized and popularized as human industry became more and more of a thing, hence why it was sensational starting with the 20th century.

That's why you bring a cross. No stronger shield against the supernatural than unwavering faith.

The top down isn't, there weren't any Brazilians/Portuguese in that group.

Would the local law enforcement be forced to go into the forest if an unprecented number of people started vanishing in X and X area or are the police just that cowardly that they would call in someone else to deal with a bunch of cousin fuckers LARPing Texas Chainsaw Massacre?

>Americans are so desperate for happiness they literally believe in religion and fairy tales
HOLY SHIT
Do you retards REALLY do this?

>Username 666 survived all the faggy revisions YT has done over the years
Well I'll be damned

Because laws, forest and what not are not a municipal matter, then its the state thats goimg to say lmao not my probpem and ask the feds to do it then the feds will say nah thats a state problem

No fucking way wtf!?

good movie?

if the feds going in then it is going to be a big problem
also far cry 5 thing isn't entirely fictional with the way they portray those compounds in the boondocks. you want to get in and get out alive you better fucking come prepared

>step off path to take a piss
>completely lose your bearings, get lost for 2 weeks and die
>go hiking on a sunny day
>die from heat exhaustion
>hike in some snow
>fall through some hidden ice and die

why do people go outside?

just be careful bro

Whiter than you muhammad.

every single missing 411 case are either parents being too embarrassed to admit that they weren't paying attention for a lot longer than "a couple of seconds" or parents actively ditching their "problem kids" (literal autists and retards)

The forest going silent is indicative of a predator nearby. And that predator sure as shit ain`t you

my favorite is going to a cave and get stuck

Seething nature cell mad his country has no natural forests anymore

Just depends on where you travel, you aren't going to find this activity more west towards the ocean or in parts like Lake Tahoe/popular tourist areas since those are established communities. It's just more in the extremely isolated parts of really any state where you need to be careful of not just humans, but animals as well.
I've lived and camped/hiked here all my life and know where to keep out of which is just only like 2 or 3 areas in the entire state, and some areas are no go zones anyway like deep in death valley where there's no roads whatsoever
