Apparently vambos here in Namibia eat dogs and cats. I've definitely eaten donkey and bullfrog with vambos. Both are pretty good, so I'll definitely try dog one of these days.

This is right. It's good to remember that outside the western world dogs aren't that domesticated. They won't sit down when you tell them to they will bite you. A dog bite in a country with poor healthcare is no good.
