VA monitors are amazing...

holy fucking shit what a disgusting monitor. literally broken

I don't understand the bog-standard consumer. They buy a $2000+ laptop and surround it with shit-tier, no taste accessories, and the monitor is usually the worst offense of all. Awful.

It's a 35" ultrawide with a 120hz refresh rate. What do you have?

Broo... If you can afford 16" M1 in cash, please, for the love of god replace the monitor with a LG C2 or an Alienware QD OLED. They are glossy, not as sharp or bright as retinas but with better contrast and no blooming like LEDs.

an LG C1, not a low-end display like this

A 24" IPS monitor.

This is a weird issue but do you guys ever feel like you always have to put your feet up when sitting at your computers? I feel so uncomfortable like 99% of the time but my desk is against a wall so I have to put a stool or something just to the right of it if I sit there for more than an hour. It really sucks I wish I could just be normal

pic somewhat related, i dont kick my feet up that high on the actual desk

The display looks great in person seated at the desk. Vscode uses a grey background btw. here's a close-up of the two displays. Mostly what you're seeing with the contrast is from the camera. See, there's even the same effect on the macbook's display.

not necessarily, but i do wish that i had a wireless keyboard so that i could just slouch in my chair. no room under my table to roll in closer

You're using a TV?

ah, those are nice. i actually have one myself, pic related. it's especially nice if you use your computer to watch tv/movies and wanna bring it to the couch

That backlight leakage...

Just a 27" monitor here. I've got $2k saved for a better monitor but everything out there has "but"'s ranging from lacking features to shitty QoL (blacklight bleeding). Also I'm not sure I like the look of a curved screen because I watch movies too.
I'm thinking of just getting an LG 42 OLED but I'm then worried about screen burn.
Wish someone would make a non-curved 40" OLED 5120 x 2160 144hz+ screen. I would pay $5k for that.

For the keyboard to not be too high, I need a footstool to keep my feet on solid something. I use a lumpy beanbag thing.

That panel uniformity...
Dios mio my 2005 CCFL looks better then that

>no project manager or remote explorer on vs code
hmmmm

Jesus, even my chinkshit cheap Xiaomi ultrawide monitor looks better. Were the built-in speakers worth getting this one over a Xiaomi?

disgustang, also i can see immediately you're an eurocuck
