Why do we exist?

So that later on we can un-exist

Because that's the nature of all living things. To reproduce. Bacteria have only one job, to reproduce, a virus has one goal, to reproduce, fungi have 1 job, to reproduce. It's hard coded in our DNA. I all living matter.

We exist to question the meaning of existence.

For the same reasons as all life right down to earthworms, to compete for the chance to propagate our genes before we die. Everything else is a complication bought about by our evolution to our higher and fundamentally irrelevant intelligence.

For whatever reason you think is true

For jon ferens-foulet

Consciousness.

Just to suffer.
(Mgs is trash btw)

There are life forms that don't have consciousness

Then they don't exist.

To play roblox

Came here to post this.
(MGS3 is the only one worth playing...once)

Peace walker was pretty fun as long as you skip all the cut scenes and dialog

to answer your question look at the simplest life forms. get a drop of pond water and look at it under a simple microscope

What are all these little creatures doing?
moving about, fighting, competing, reproducing

Now why should suddenly become meaningful just because the creature has become self aware, conscious and a lot more intelligent?

we serve as playthings for the gods

Anyone that says they think babies are beautiful is a damn liar.

just to use this planet and shit on it, existing and thinking our lives are worth something

The (as of yet) unborn and have no choice in the matter. We exist as a lot of posters have pointed out, it to continue our species.

There are only logical paths for the answer of this question

1. We evolved from basically nothing over millions of years, its all random and there is no meaning or point to existence

2. Some higher power or god created us, and everything is destined and fated and written, and we are just following the track that was laid out for us before we were even born. So again, no point

3. Higher power/god created us, but gave us free will, which means anyone and everyone has the power to make any decision they want at anytime. We were made purely for observation. Again, this equals no point or reason for our existence.
