I have over 5 million in assets. Less than quarter of that I earned myself, as I inherited a business and 2 houses. I was already doing fine prior to that, but I quit my career to "run" my father's business. I dont really do anything there though. I also rent out one house through AirBnB and the other is rent paid in cash by college students. Being financially set is nice, but its also boring and unmotivating.
im broke. working on getting better finances
I have 8k to my name and I'm 25. We're getting there. Slowly but surely.

My parents have a lot of money but I do not.
I have 20 cents in my bank account.

2k in savings, 40k a year. Work for a nonprofit. Poor, but not that poor. Middle class, but not quite middle class.

Worked hard in high school, went to undergrad, then grad, now making about 240k in a fulfilling job and I live in a narrow condo next to a highway because it feels cozy and reminds me of my leaky one bedroom apartment next to a loud train track that shook with each train passing.
