Well, Any Forums?
I assume you can now log in somewhere, too, right?

nice new paragraph, bro

I have my own site up which is my home server, and it hosts apps and shit. The homepage just shows a random video from my webm folder and my logo. nginx reverse proxies any apps to different subdomains. I use it for home media server, RTMP streams, chat, transmission, email, and hosting a drawpile.

Thanks broh, I wanted to prove that I have two.

drawpile sounds pretty neat, that's cool you do that for your friends so they can draw dicks presumably. Do you use a hypervisor?

I've got 2 blogs to keep some pieces of opinion tidy in one place, and link to them whenever i'm asked

No hypervisor because it's an old SOB (2x E5540.) Everything is running on baremetal; some apps are containerized. If I get rooted like a retard, I'll just turn it off because it's in my living room. Anything too mission critical is backed up and off the network.

i have 3 (or 4) different website designs laying around my hdd, but i have never deployed those
maybe someday

I WANT TO GO BACK

I followed some Lunk Smith guides and stole a design off wiby. Pic rel how does it look?

What's the point of a hidden blog if you can't find it?
VMs are expensive storage-wise, at least not as efficient. As soon as I came up with the problem in my directory layout it was just a mess, so my 2nd go at a site was a vmware admin job as well.

The next one might be Proxmox for me since containers complicate the storage issue.

>swimpal
>eyes protected
>ready to give qt3.14 flowlers and a pool
I would be happy to giv ten/10

>hypervisor
>VMs
Yeah I use neither; the shit which is made for docker goes in there, and nginx handles certbot and all that other shit. If I had the overhead or newer CPUs for VT-X shit I would probably use qemu for a few things but no point at this level of complexity.

Neat.

If you want to own a home user, it can be done. Even in this market.

I was able to buy a 700sqf condo in the DFW area for a good price and the payments + taxes + misc is still better than renting by a wide margin.

Coming up with about $37k for a down payment is the trick. I was able to save for it in a year and a half, but that's me.

I could have gone with a bigger place, but I don't want kids or to live with anyone. I could have gone cheaper, but I wanted gated, manned 24hr security in a 85%+ white neighborhood.

Never give up on your dreams user.

I self host my own knowledgebase that only I access and will take to the grave, does that count?

I created a tech repair business and made a website and business cards and all that stuff
But then I remembered I have crippling social anxiety

RSS feed is cool I don't know how you did that.

Glad you shared the Any Forums post about Linus Torvalds, I'm easily brainwashed so it's a good reminder to chill with good people.

Not sure why I was worried about my boss' eyes over my shoulder earlier. irc is another cool idea thanks for posting fren

you shut down the page?

can you repair my tech

Thanks fren!
That sounds great user. I'm saving up and thinking I might buy in cash or not. Still haven't decided!
No probs bro I'll try to keep it up! I just need to setup some form of contact so peeps can bitch if I messed something up!
Uh no its still up. Werks for me?

if the name of website starts with c and has dot org domain then it shows me host resolve error

>that feel when I made my first website with html

It was a good feeling having a small geocities site that no one came to anyway.
