Respect bikers

That meme format was never funny.

right??

Why respect? They're just on two wheels and chose to put their lives at risk for no reason other than the thrill of looking cool on two wheels.

I should know .... I ride an old sport bike

>respect unemployed teenagers with mullets who peel out on their dirt bikes in the suburb at 6 in the morning
>respect fat middle-aged men who crank their hogs on the highway, blaring the same three hair metal albums on repeat with a hambeast sitting in the back
>don't respect people with good cardio who choose to ride in a way that doesn't make a lot of noise or indicate some kind of midlife crisis
Is this really how zoomers think?

I respect their will to donate organs to people in need
almost makes up for them being asshole drivers who seem to think that everybody else enjoys their roaring engines as much as they do

My dad genuinely might be the only motorcycle owner I've ever met who isn't a massive cringelord. Most of his biking friends are the cliché

Tell us you're fat without telling us you're fat.

Polite bicycle commuter here. I dont wear spandex or a dork hat or get in the way of cars on purpose.

So why the hate?

If you see me look both ways before carefully running a red light without harming anyone or anything and then you get angry, you probably need therapy.

Not hating on cyclists but from my experience, cycling seems like a more healthy midlife crisis for a lot of people.
Like one moment you're completely normal, then suddenly you're 45 and cycling 40 miles away in lycra just because you can

Man, if you're on the road then obey the fucking road rules and stop at the red lights

Therapy. Go find some. Red lights are for cars. Same with stoplights.

Hurr must stop at red light bulb designed for cars so as to not to upset the fatties.

So in your mind, it's surely ok for drivers to cross red lights if they think it's safe too
I'm all for people cycling, as long as they don't possess your retarded outlook

I throw bricks at motorbikes from the bus individualist losers

>Is this really how zoomers think?
No. This thread was made by a Any Forums bot

Number of people killed in auto accidents in the US last year: 38,000.
Number of people killed whilst cycling in the US last year: 800-ish.

Why are car brains like this?

Nope. False equivalence. I'm not piloting an 4,000 pound murder cage.

I mean I ride but most bikers are complete fucking faggots.

You can still cause injury to people if you cycle into them. It's safe until you miss someone

Do you just walk at crosswalks before it says to go? What's the extend of the danger you're willing to put yourself in out of spite to cars?

Nice meme and all, but cyclists rarely run from the cops then go splat whilst fleeing.

Thats good to know. Thanks there, captain obvious. But you missed the part where I said look both ways before carefully running red lights.

>out of spite to cars?
Never said I have any spite for cars. I just dont let lightbulbs dictate my behaviour. Also jaywalking is a known bullshit law. Look that up.

>Crosses when lightbulb says its ok.
>Dies anyways because motorists disobey laws more frequently than cyclists.
Why are car brains like this?

Pedestrians have a higher fatality rate vs cyclists. No links for lazy basterds and IDGAF what you believe.

You might write this off as a larp, but I swear it's true. A cyclist got hit for running a red in my hometown. The vehicle that hit him was driving legally. He just couldn't see it coming because the perpendicular road it was coming from didn't slow down from 70 mph. Point being, whether you think a car is going to slam into you and turn your lights out permanently isn't necessarily a good indicator of whether it'll actually happen.
>jaywalking is bullshit
You can get a $200 ticket for it in my county.

I'm sure you do, but you aren't infallible and red lights are designed to stop mistakes from happening

Riiiight....

That might have to do with there being 1,000 times more cars on the road than bikes at any given time, but hey, you spin the numbers however you want to fit your narrative

>A cyclist got hit for running a red in my hometown.
Sucks to be him. Obviously he didnt carefully think and look both ways before running a red light.

And the thing about it is, you're more likely to die while riding in a car vs cycling and the statistics prove it.

Get back to me once you've deprogrammed yourself from all the car brain brainwash and have done some actual research on the topic.

>red lights are designed to stop mistakes from happening
Wrong.

>to fit your narrative
My narrative is statistics. And I've already given plenty, but you've given none and are responding with the usual cognitive dissonance and tired script.

Tell us more about what you think you know based on years of brainwashing and conditioning.

38,000 vehicle deaths in the US last year.
800 cyclist deaths.

Far safer to ride as the fatality rate per hour of cycling is much lower than that of driving.

I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, but now that you're spouting off about Big Toyota brainwashing me to think a certain way, you're either a troll or a genuine wholesale retard.

Not an argument and yes you car brains are brainwashed.

>I was willing to give you the benefit of the doubt
Lies.

According to the first Google search I did, you're twice as likely to die in a car than on a bike when adjusted for time spent traveling in each. This isn't surprising, and I never argued against it. Further, it doesn't prove the claim you're making that running a red on a bike is safe. Thats what I'm arguing, and I'm not interested in rolling around in the mud with you over whether bikes are safer than cars. I really, really don't care.
