Summary? I aint reading all that

Is this fake? Anons, enlighten me with your wisdom.

I am skeptical
Also it would take an insane amount of time to get there without Ftl so who cares

Confirmation of life outside Earth would still be a massive thing. Doesn't matter if they're millions of lightyears away from us, it will be a world changing discovery.
Tho I am 99% sure this is fake.

They found a mega structure (dyson sphere) around another star. A civilization more advanced then ours will be existing there.

It'd tell us pretty quickly if we're wasting our time trying to figure out how to travel that fast if a species could be advanced enough to build that, obtain enough osmium, which is super fucking rare on Earth, and have it be big enough to be detected by us probably at least hundreds of lightyears away given we've already looked at stuff closer than that.

My guess is this doc is just fake. I'll believe it when i see it. This is why they don't release this type of info to the public, because it's most likely going to be explained by something else.

HOW DID YOU GET ACCESS TO THIS AND WHAT STAR ARE WE TALKING ABOUT

Also first contact is bad for the lesser advanced race

This would of been believable in a year when Webb has had some time to really scan the sky

> DO NOT RELEASE
> that sub title titled "How certain are we?"
are you even fucking trying retard? this reads like babbys first essay in elementary

You can usually tell when this type of thing is fake when the OP doesn't reply and explain anything. Like where they got it, for example. Great larp tho, should be fun to share around for a few days

bullshit. No way they deciphered the riddle of quark matter.

Lol yeah i just ignored the headers the first time. First one is centered and second one is left aligned. Both sound ridiculous for an official paper and NASA never jumps to conclusions that quickly, especially even coming close to suggesting aliens.

Tldr: fake and gay

google it dickhead, it's 2018 news

Tabby's star was deboonked 4 years ago. Nice try.

Why tf did you call me a dickhead you massive inflammatory faggot

Correct me if im wrong, but this isn't tabbys star. The "paper" directly references what tabbys star ended up being

We have matter/energy data/phaselight merging into this structure from the sounds of things it is a residential space faring device. Possibly reptilian.

yeah we all gun be slaves or some shit if they got quark matter

ATTENTION! OP IS A FAG!

Reverse image search leads to reddit from last year!

I cannot imagine it's real. JWST went online, what, a week ago? The chances of them already finding something this significant are slim. The odds of them concluding that's exactly what it is, as opposed to any number of other possibilities, are basically zero. News this big doesn't come out this fast. They'd reevaluate the data for at least a year before even suggesting a Dyson sphere.

Don't get me excited you cunt. This is fake but a nicely crafted one

>Authorization from JWST
LMFAO

Hit a bit too close to home, you fucking tranny niggerfaggot? Kill yourself, troon.

Your mom invites random black men of your age to her room at night faggot

It is so incredibly obvious when a layperson tries to imitate the flow of an internal scientific report. It feels just like those cringe posts where someone tries to look cultured by cramming the biggest words they know in a sentence, with no regard for overall style.

Ah yes, the famous "nonstandard carbon" spike.
