Bubble censor thread
Holy fuck that's actually interesting! How'd you do that? Can you post more like that? Thumbnail looked like underwear but it's a censor. It's just fascinating. Never thought of it being done this way
I wrote a kinda shitty program to produce the bubble mask. It requires drawing over the clothes in pure red to produce it
That makes sense. Pretty cool effect though
this is maybe the worst bubble job i've ever seen. increase the minimum size of your bubbles
Decrease*
No. Increase. Smaller and smaller bubbles just gets you an underwear censor. You need the bubbles to be a certain size to achieve the effect
As I'm playing with it, it feels like a balance act. when i made the bubbles too small it ruined the effect.
Any suggestions to get a good size for the smallest bubble? I'm guessing it ought to comparable to the size of the underwear
are there still any apps online to do this or is everyone using photoshop?
Here is an attempt. I'm still working out the parameters for the program.
see this is decent
heres what it looks like to take it a step further
I would relate it to the total area of the photo, maybe minBubbleArea = photoArea * .05?
Agreed. The program I made tries to cut out the largest circles possible while avoiding underwear and other circles. It is a crude way to do it. I can think of other ways to get that effect, though it would take time to implement
I think this is a fine way to do it, just add a condition that checks the size of the circle that's about to be created and play with that metric
Try it on her?
I will give that shot. I think to get a good effect I will need a full rewrite of this program. This method is slow and kinda jarring.
Yeah see the point is to reveal just enough that your brain can imagine that they might be naked, but not so much that you destroy the illusion by basically tracing the clothing. The reason the bigger bubbles work so well is because they feel random. The smaller the bubbles get and the closer to the clothing line they bunch up, the less random they feel. I'd like to see the results of your tweaks though
this angle possible?
Bubble her but leave the glasses in
OP do you have the original of this pic?
Starting with larger circles is definitely the right way to do it, you definitely can't start with smaller circles and work your way up
