I think the images are tagged "white man" and "white woman" and are popular show up first, and they're not actually what they claim to be. Because neither ai or a meme it sweatshop are used to check the images they just pass.
Basically it's human idiotism feeding engines wrong data as they rely on the data and tags given to them to be correct.

I just simply typed "man woman" and everybody is either white or european or midterranean there. Your pic might be an algorithmic error due to overspecification, not due to propaganda.

It's also good for searching pirated stuff as torrents are not blocked. I typically use ddg, but for that type stuff I go to yandex (unless can find it on specialized websites).
