What do you think the implications would be if the Catholic Church got money together to put a Church on the moon? Would atheists lose their shit?

as an atheist, fuck it lets do it itd be funny as fuck

based

colonization, churches often used advance architecture and building techniques to create places of congregation during inclimate weather even with natural ventilation. Churches sponsored other building projects of lower quality acted as judge and jury with their own stockades out front promoting conversations of right wrong and limits of justice. church was the center of town. Likely the spots of early markets.

I imagine the moon version would burn oxygen candles to honor jezus covered in led grow lights and solar panels, might even have hydroradiant heat system moving heat from the candle through the building to sink oxygen candle this is rough but the basics for survival should be plentiful a saftey net for experimental moon projects

Atheists have never lost their shit about the church doing anything that doesn't affect them.

>hollow ground where not even the devil can harm you
ahahah

yeah but manned lunar missions are this big symbol of scientific acheivement so it might piss off one of them if a church was put up there

petiteness is a great motivator.

Athiests dont lose their shit about churches built on earth, why would they give a fuck about an empty building on the moon?
Again please explain why you imagine it would piss anyone off, athiest or not? Does the church say "athiests are faggots" on the roof or something?

You have a stilted, unrealistic view of secular people

This reminds me of the classic South Park episode Starvin Marvin In Space!

that's quite a way to light a half a trillion dollars on fire. might spark honest debate about churches, how much wealth they have, and how the usage of that is or is not regulated by the nation states they operate in. would give me a bit of a chuckle if I read about it.
t. atheist

nice try op, but everyone knows catholics don't believe in the moon.

You greatly underestimate how upset some people can get over inconsequential shit

When was the last time you read about athiests losing their shit about something inconsequential, user?
Random dipshit hot-takes on twitter do not count, twitter is not real life.

You greatly misconstrue atheists as bitter and angry, and "upset at god" or some delusional bullshit when they're really just upset about crusades, witch burnings and religion-based legislation infringing on their individual rights.

it would need a melathilon fountain to scrub co2 and boilers to move the co2 to a green house.

Jesus, what a dumb thread.

at least it's not Any Forums tier race nonsense or random ethots posting adverts for their OF

the only reason to criticise it I can think of is, it would be a massive waste of money that could be spent on important shit, like feeding billions.

Other than that, you have a highly distorted, childishly naive perception of atheists, and most likely, people in general.
