Do you guys keep your data on physical storage or in the cloud?

or where?

Well I'm not gonna lug around a hard drive like some autist.

This thread is luminescent.

I mean both are physical

Mobile is shit storage and you should know it. Don't trust it. Also read the ToS for your hardware. Basically you are not allowed to be mean with it.

Both. Backups are important

go to bed mogambe, the N*A will not pay you more for staying extra hours doing their job.

I don't have data.

My important stuff is redundantly stored on two separate cloud services as well as a local backup. Locally-encrypted, of course.

Personal data stays on my machine.

both. every week i backup my porn on a cheap 4tb hdd and throw it at the sky

storing data is how they get you

...

i don't have any "data"?

Do you think Any Forums jannies don't know everything about you?

I used to keep my critical files (that aren't photo/video data) in dropbox. I technically still do since I never deleted it, but when they made the new rule about only allowing three devices to sign in on the free account, I jumped ship.

These days, I have a home server running syncthing, and I use that to store all of my critical data. Works pretty much the same way as dropbox, so having a copy on all of my computers is basically a free backup solution. I keep all of my photo/video data on the server as well, but not in my syncthing folder. I just SSH/SFTP into the server when I want to watch a video or something.

Who said anything about mobile storage? Not everyone lives off of their phones like zoom zooms do.

I've been storing data for decades, and no one has ever "gotten" me. Maybe that's because I'm not into illicit, underworld stuff.

Can I keep cute, sexy and legal loli pics in the cloud without provider sama ratting on me?

I just remember it.
