What is the historical basis of german engineering/ingenuity?

If you want to deny that germans in the last 2 centuries have been complete gangsters, pls kys. Aside from that, where did ze chermance get their engineering testosterone from?

Hitler unironically

theres a theory that says that language has a big influence on cognitive performance.
the theory has a name but i dont remember it

(human language. im not talking about C vs pythong here)

It's 100% geography, rhine river for example.

not having a life outside of work...

Forklift simulator, mostly.

The legacy of German engineering started in the middle ages unironically.
>best forgeries
>best steel quality
>large guilds
>constant flow of information
>huge efforts of standardization
>creation of DIN
>better parts lead to better machines lead to better parts
If you think German engineering has something to do with the cars which were released in the past 20 years, kys.

(t. op) i have heard this too, but i think its an excuse because it is used every chance a liberal can use it.
Asians?
>Oh their language is really hard so it makes them smart.
Then why are SE asians 10-15 iq points lower than skoreans and japs?
>oh i guess se asian language is easier i think yeah it must be probably right huhuh (its not)
Germany?
>oh lets just assume german is the most complicated language huhuhuh (it isnt)

All you gotta do to smash this bullshit language hypothesis is ask, if we raise a group of somalians or australian natives (abo) in japan from birth, will they end up with an avg iq of 110 like the native japs?
(If you unironically think they will you are dumber than the dumbest somalian or abo in history)

No hate to somalians/aborigines, but the ends justify the means. To argue that the penis size of all ethnicities would be equal if the raised the same (npi) is no more ridiculous than thinking all iqs would end up the same.

Back to the studio,
—why are ze chermance so baller in fields that matter (phys/eng/maths)?

My hypothesis is that feeding girls good beer makes them crave smart men. And german beer history is like asian rice history.

German cars are shit, it's all look but no practicality.
You need to have like 3 different German cars to use it in all cases. Japanese cars are far superior.

Porsche 959 is 36 years old. And did a 3.6 0-60 the same yr americas fastest corvette did 0-60 in 8 sec.
But point taken.
Good post.
What is din?

I believe it has to do with Nazi rocket tech because German cars suck ass

yrs ago i came across a poll made for a subaru owners forum that asked what country had better auto engineering ger or jpn and 60% said germany.

I think if 6 in 10 subie owners say german cars are better then 9 in 10 would say you (user) should kill yourself.

>muh popularity
let me explain this to you. German cars are good for people who live in cities and give zero shit about how much oil it will burn. For people who love travelling with cars, it's a nightmare to use, majority of German cars are piece of shit in mountainous, rocky areas. You need to buy X6 or X7 and they are bad investment, really bad and even if you buy those cars, in busy cities they are unpractical, you need to throw your weakly salary for just oil. So, in cities you need another German car, it's consumerist bullshit cars.
I prefer my Honda Civic 2017 hatchback . It's car that just werks everywhere.

It's all about process. Not sure how the basis worked for Ze Germans, but in Japan Deming's systems of feedback led to a revolution.

Genetics and memetics

>DIN standards
> metric, not like muh freedom units
> high work ethic
> low on resources -> focus on inventing

>DIN
>Deutsches Institut für Normung

The German Industry Guilds adopted a common industry standard throughout the German country so that everywhere the same screws were used, the same wire and pipe gauges were used, the same tolerance and clearance systems were used, so that every engineer in the entire country can work on every machine in the entire country with the same materials and tools.
The DIN was just the first time that the state took the initiative and made it mandatory that everyone abides to the same standard and made it not only apply to the industry but to every aspect, for example paper and envelope sizes.
Yes, A# paper was defined by DIN, that's why it's called DIN A4 or DIN A5.

Also, healthcare and a social system unlike burgerland

Sapir Whorf theory?

Not sure how true it is in general but German is very good at creating long compound words to describe specific machine parts intuitively

if it's so good why did it lead to lollercausts such as tiger 1 transmission, or the G11??
