I don't think he intentionally murdered her, but he enabled her addiction and likely gave her the fatal dose. He used to talk about that in his act; his wife pressuring him to steal medication from his elderly parents and shit like that. I think he was naive about her addiction, and he feels guilt from the role he played in it. Thus the overcompensation.

Well, the thing about chemistry is that generalities are exceedingly and insultingly over-simplified. I was given an introductory lesson into acids at some point prior to attending College, and I do not regret leaving. There is no way that I could have possibly tolerated 8 years of thar as any self-respecting Chemist should. The reality is that you like the major enough to participate in it, then you won't ever be able to exempt yourself from the doctorate program at will. Nontheless, the entire subject is nothing but a series of abstractions, omissions, generalizations and and omissions. Look at the ideal gas model. Its god damned non-sense! It doesn't exist! Like the god damned leap year. Look at the Bohr model. Its non-sense. There is no reasoning behind it. At all. How are you going to study that when much of the acid theory is based upon bohr's work.
