Hannah Montana?

thats besides the point

You aren't the first person to have a hit outside the US. Everyone from Classic Rock Bands to country artists have this happen, and it has been going on for a while.

If Japan is where the money is, then that's your Audience. Those are your fans. Revel in it. Do a tour. Sell a pile of records, make a pile of money, maybe learn some Japanese.

Instead of focusing on what you don't get at home, enjoy all the love and appreciation where it is.

Did his music chart good in Japan?

when you get good

Honestly have no idea who that is. I was thinking more of Cheap Trick. They were HUGE in Japan. They did well here in the US too, but nothing like they did in Japan. Their live album "Cheap Trick at Budokan" in 78 was their best selling record, and the song "I want you to want me", with the audience full of teen-aged girls singing along, must have been a huge boost to their confidence. I mean, think about it. It was 1978, when you could still tap teen pussy and get away with it.

"Nwaka Onwusa, director of curatorial affairs at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, spoke with 1A on the parallels between Beatlemania in the United States and Cheap Trick's reception in Japan:

Sure we have the story about the Beatles...how Beatlemania hit the United States, but to have Cheap Trick then go overseas and do that same very thing...in Tokyo. The girls, the screaming, throwing flowers at the plane. That’s total ‘Trickmania,’ for sure...it’s actually a beautiful story that [doesn’t] get a lot of shine or recognition because it didn’t happen here, but we have an American band...that created such tidal waves that then boomeranged back here in the United States.[16]" - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheap_Trick_at_Budokan

THEN they all wondered: "Where have all the cowboys gone"

That's because your music fucking sucks, and Japanese have shit taste.

it doesn't

Iv'e done tours in Asia before

also I'm glad they like my stuff but like I didn't really think my music would appeal to a Japanese audience

I heard them on the radio before, didn’t know they were getting Japanese teen pussy lol. Yea
