Hi Borb
Checked those tripple dubs
Then it has to be true.
AAAAAAAAAAAAA
Hi Scaly
I'm have manliest straight trips
oops there was a new
cutesync idk cause the whole point of that is it’s smol and has no dependencies, but, if you wanted to say, make a core functions lib, that can be the core of fs, and also used by other forks and scripts like cutesync, that could be pretty genius
like a backbone lib that a new version of fs can be built around and other scripts can also implement for such things so as to remain spec compliant without fs itself installed
lotta work tho lol, feel free to ignore :’)
Jup. Its probably best at keeping cutesync simple.
And installing two things is uneccessarily more effort for most.
But maybe a package that installs the set of functions in the document for any script to use then.
Kinda like finding the common between all things, yup.
But thats things to improve in the future - good idea.
is leto really a dogfucker or is that just an /an/ troll
i didn’t mean a whole separate script along side fs, just a lib, like, a set of functions in the fs script that are isolated and non-dependant enough to be copy pasted into any other script, like i do with my k-script lib, that big block of $. funcs at the top of all my scripts
github.com
kscript, like all my scripts start with this. just some block of core funcs that can be copy pasted and work with no modification.
Yes, thats why i said having two would be a mess.
And yes, you then could make these "public" instead of "private" in a namespace that way.
I just red it as attaching it to the document while you suggested to copy paste it.
Thats why i tried to refactor things as their own function blocks with their own function rather than a huge blob of mess.
That DOM element generator which updates the post and other parts are still painful to read.
Copy pasting will solve the version issue if there are newer and older things running at the same time. Having them private in a namespace will keep things functioning.
I'll try to do this the coming weeks / months.
