It heavily depends on the music/content you listen to. For podcasts, youtube etc you are probably perfectly fine with just a pair of 8010. My 8030s have plenty clear bass extension even at very high volumes for most usecases but my 4020s could absolutely use a sub for music. Only reason I got the 7050 is because I wanted this to be my endgame system so I stop spending so much on audio. At the end of the day it all comes down to preference and your budget
