Fighter plane thread
Not a fighter, you goddamned moron.
Mine is the Mi 24 "Apache". Its made in Korea but its pretty awesome.
beraters gonna berate but F-35 Lightning
it basically takes the role of command center, intel gathering, supercomputer, all in a supersonic fighter jet with the radar signature of a penny
>ridiculously overbudget and expensive
yeah but once you see an F-35 perfectly coordinate air and land battles and destroy 50 chinese craft in 10mins you'll be glad
the plane plagued with problems
vertical take-off, ugh not again the damn british ruined another cool thing
this stupid bitch, I am worried it will be loud, but it is cool
the problems are exaggerated but also the capability outweighs it. the problem is the spec was "this needs to do everything and do it better than anything" which is stupid. they should have divided it into two different aircraft that each specialized in different areas better, rather than a single jack of all trades
>tfw dreamed of becoming a Coast Guard pilot someday but my eyes aren't good enough to pass the medical
but user Harriet jet loves you
I see wat ur doin
sorry i meant strategic bomber
The greatest ever made
true classics never die
ITT: Faggots who've only read about these machines on Wikipedia
As opposed to you, who has test flown each of them?
what about the F-22?
anyway i used to have pic related. it made different jet sounds as you pointed it up or down and of course the button to fire missiles and stuff. was fun.
not a fighter plane
you guys only like chicks with dicks and racism :[
The F-35 excels at all the things that matter in an air superiority fighter nowadays. The sensor, communication, and information suite is easily the most important part of the aircraft
the helmet and visual systems alone are fucking next level
No, but a few guys in the wing have
>in the wing
