This is how I see it
Sexual attraction is innate. Humans are one species that have sex for pleasure as well as reproduction. Because in nature animals that don't have a desire to reproduce don't pass on that innate behavior. Humans through innovation have been able to explode our population and through generations of cultural pressures humans with innate homosexual desires were forced into conforming to hetero relationships thus passing their true homosexual desires to a next generation. Of course that behavior will show up randomly in heterosexual lineage but overall I think that if your gay, someone in your ancestors was also gay by suppressed their desires knowingly or unknowingly.
Being gay is not a choice. I was 18 and loss my virginity before I saw gay porn for the first time and didn't understand why my dick was ragging hard. I came x1000 harder the first time a guy blew me than I had before with a women.

As far as I can tell, it's evolution in action. This is apparent by the statistical analysis. It's as if evolution is saying that, for whatever ever reason, these people should not be allowed to continue spreading their inferior genetics. In a way homosexuality is a genetic death sentence. It's why homosexuals on average are not attractive. And I'm not talking about the occasional hot ripped or sexy homo. No 95%+ homosexual men and women are genetically inferior, fat, weak, shaped strangely etc. So evolution causes these inferior people to be attracted to their own sex in an attempt to keep them from breeding naturally.
So is it a disease? No. But it is an evolutionary phenomenon that should be appreciated. I welcome homos. I mean I smile and look upon them with pity, but ultimately they take care of snuffing their stock out of the gene pool, and that deserves some sort of reverence.
