Whats your obsession with this very specific model of firearm? 5.56 is a mediocre rifle caliber and the AR is no more special than any other semiautomatic rifle.

>Whats your obsession with this very specific model of firearm?
Lightweight, durable, extremely reliable, extremely accurate.
>5.56 is a mediocre rifle caliber
Flat shooting light weight high velocity low recoiling terminally effective cartridges that are widely available and affordable counts as "mediocre" now?

>Flat shooting light weight high velocity low recoiling terminally effective cartridges that are widely available
you can say the same thing about .22LR

More power behind .223 than a .22LR

>flat shooting
Nope.
>Light weight
Sure
>high velocity
5.56 is moving about 3x faster, with a heavier bullet.
>low recoiling
sure
>terminally effective
Yeah, no.

7.62x39 has more power than that so I don't see your point . I'm just saying, theres a lot of guns out there and I don't see why these mall ninja guns are the hill so many gunfags want to die on. And AR-15s are the most boring guns to bring to the range

.22LR has a very flat trajectory out of a rifle barrel with 1200+fps rated 40 grain projectiles. And its lethal if you can aim it right. It just doesn't cause expansion like heavier rounds do

>7.62x39 has more power than that so I don't see your point
7.62x39 has worse terminal performance, reduced range, and none of the guns chambered for it are as good as an AR.
>I'm just saying, theres a lot of guns out there
>And AR-15s are the most boring guns to bring to the range
Some people buy guns based on how well they work, rather than to be a unique special snowflake with a different, worse gun.

you just get a hard on every time you think about murdering someone and this instrument would make that easy for faggot like yourself

Because I’m a cucked Canadian..otherwise I would.

just tell us where you're planning to do your mass shooting so we can swat you in advance

i hope u have a sidearm so you can just an hero before they get to your front door

>Some people buy guns based on how well they work, rather than to be a unique special snowflake with a different, worse gun.
And its fucking boring. The AR-15 is the most soulless gun I have ever fired. It feels more like a tool you buy at Home Depot than a firearm. I prefer my .22LR target rifles and slugs out of my 12ga shotty if I want to just destroy shit. Fuck ARs and the dweebs who obsess over them. I'm glad the military dropped it for the Sig Spear

>affordable
My ass - About $1.25 a shot!

MP9 seems to be doing the trick for me atm

aww, look at this sweet little online kiddo

>.22LR has a very flat trajectory
You've never shot .22lr at anything but point blank range.
> 1200+fps rated 40 grain projectiles
And again, 5.56 is doing over 3000fps with 55gr projectiles.
>And its lethal if you can aim it right
And 5.56 deposits the entire chest cavity on the floor when it hits somebody.
> It just doesn't cause expansion like heavier rounds do
It's not about weight. .22lr has about 1/10th the energy of 5.56.

I tend to spend my money on hookers and blow.
What's the average cost of one, and ammo

soft/hollow point vs jacketed.

>$1.25
holy shit retard, even at current terrible prices that's more than double the going rate.
>The AR-15 is the most soulless gun I have ever fired
>muh .22lr tho!
lol what a stupid take
>military dropped
Sorry champ, the military has not removed the M4 from service and their plans don't call for them to.

Direct gas impingement is so bad of a system you have to fudd a solution in the form of the forward assist.
That's why.

Nope. The difference is 7.62x39 is a very stable and (relatively) low velocity rifle round. This means when it hits someone, it generally zips right through, poking a hole and little more.

5.56 does this. This is basic FMJ, generally considered the absolute worst performing 5.56 you can possibly buy.

Because that is not a weapon of honor. I prefer to be a man of the blade and fight honorably. My skills are so complete I can beat armed foes with my quick movements and focus. No one even knows it’s coming before they taste death by my katana blade.

Have to concur - there is no comparison with a .22LR and any "real rifle"

Eh??

I do just none of that Hera Arms bullshit Walmart plastic furniture.

you're quoting two different people

Says the guy wearing out his sofa.

Your opinion does not change facts. The 5.56 is better in every way. Only less intelligent people do t understand it needs to have a 20” barrel, the 14.5 barrel on M4’s, and the 16.5” barrel most civilians blindly buy don’t have the barrel length for best performance of the 5.56 round.

>Direct gas impingement
AR-15 isn't direct gas impingement.
>so bad of a system
Why?
>you have to fudd a solution
You actually don't, you can in fact just angle grind a hole in the side of the rifle and weld a handle on to the bolt carrier if you want it to have a charging handle like other rifles. The reason it doesn't have one is because Eugene Stoner actually knew how to make a good gun. Having a gaping hole in the side of a rifle is a bad thing that very negatively affects reliability. This is why AR-15s are way more reliable than AKs in adverse conditions.

AR-15 comes in like 2 dozen calibers. Who doesn’t own separate uppers and magazines for their rifles?

A "one ton" ninja on Any Forums. cool

Don't listen to these retarded armchair "ballistics experts" here. The 5.56, albeit small, is a helluva an efficient assault round.

Just give me a zip .22. It's all I need.

listen, I can be sober or I can be on Any Forums shitposting about guns, I can't do both.

Whoever I meant to quote will probably figure it out.

because i own a 30 06 instead not that faggot shit

“Basic FMJ”, the 7.62x39 can’t penetrate any body armor with any version of the round. The “basic” M193 5.56 out of a 20” upper penetrates Level III body armor, the new M855A1 will penetrate Level III+.
7.62x39 “armor piercing” won’t penetrate any.

i prefer the DC-15A

Attached: DC-15A.jpg (794x524, 122.43K)

Won’t penetrate any body armor, brags still.
