What is considered old? I am a 23 year old guy who graduated uni 2 months ago. Im feeling down bc i will be turning 24 soon and i feel like i missed out on things in uni. i came here for Any Forums when i was going into freshman year uni bc during hs i wasnt a normie but played sportsball but i had artistic friends who told me about here and i got drawn into it. i became obsessed with using info from here to become better like the Any Forums threads on life and Any Forums life advice shit and i worry i over analyzed and havent actually done anything. back to the uni thing. like i only went on spring break once. is 23/24 considered old? im freaking out thinking bc now im going to start working its over. like meeting hot girls, getting with hot girls, traveling, doing things i want to do, i feel like i didnt come out of my shell until my final years of uni and i put off lifting bc it has been hard while trying to enjoy it. I get hard and down on myself a ton and im feeling sad atm can someone like throw me a bone here. when am i like considered old and shit im afraid of not doing things i want to do or its 'over' as my cousin and some others have said its all down hill after uni and other depressing shit that makes me (who had 2 years of uni robbed from being depressed and got better) get down again. can someone help me out thanks for reading b

Girl in the pic seems to take numerous BBC in her life

Mate, you'll be fine - and no matter what you do, you'll always miss out on something. That's just life, you can't do it all. Life after uni can be great, mine was. I'm turning 40 in a bit and life is still great.
For women, it's 25
For men, it's 40
>experienced with BBC
Listen, all that shit you are worried about is not what it's cracked up to be. You are still young with plenty of fun to be had. If you are smart start worrying about investing and living a debt free life. It will open many doors to having fun and affording to do fun things. Too many people are strapped down by useless car loans and credit card debt. I'm 37 now and can pretty much do what I want because I was smart with money. Dint start worrying about being too old until you are in your 40s and even then it doesn't matter.
>What is considered old?
40+
I'm turning 40 in a few weeks. I don't feel old. I'm quite active, have a lot of fun, my wife is in her 20s. Life is good. Body doesn't heal quite like it used to, that's about it.
doesn't matter. rules are rules.
Imagine being 24 and discontent... wow. Young people don't know how to live in the moment anymore. Everyone is stuck in the past. How sad...
23/24 is definitely not old, but *feeling* old is relative. surround yourself with old fucks and you’ll feel young really fast. surround yourself with younger ppl and you’ll feel yourself descending into the grave as each second passes. our environment has a profound effect on the way we feel, our capability to relate to others, and our feelings about ourselves, so don’t underestimate that dimension. ultimately just thinking about your age, in a vacuum, doesn’t mean anything. rather it only means the number of times the earth has gone around the sun since you born
37
there are. no rules kid
being surrounded by same aged or younger peers who have long surpassed you by now + societal reminders everytime you go outside will do that to you
it's all over the place. when i was 18, a dude who was 25 was like, might as well be 50 to me. And as you get older obviously you feel more like that guy yourself. I remember being 25 or 26, and being called a grandpa by a 19 year old lol. But some 25 year olds are total babies basically. In fact most are probably.
College sucks for a lot of people. It can definitely be a bummer. But if you have a decent life ahead of you, well you're about to actually be in your golden years. My friends who didn't have shit lives all moved to the big city in this state, and they are just living life but life is good not this shit notlife but just regular life, going out, even if you are 'poor' you are living a life. Everything is just a continuation of the past and you're still a loser compared to chad but as you get older you push it off like you'll be 50 thinking I have another 10 years before I'm middle age bc 120 will be the age of death for people in the future. 30 is the new 20
You definitely still have time to not miss out at 24 lol once u acctually are old u will laugh at this
that's still called living in the past. dwelling on regret. it'll make you miserable --cause all sorts of unnecessary suffering. start learning about mindfulness and stoicism now, you'll thank yourself later.
>arbitrary, differing from person to person
funniest thing is that even that blurb defines old as 60+
>What is considered old?
about a decade older than whatever is one's current age
