What is a "generally obsolete" program you won't let go of? I am still using Winamp and I'll be fucked if I switch to anything else. It just works.

Why not just use Clementine or Strawberry? I think the databases are compatible. Would take you like one second to switch. Both are basically still Amarok, but updated with nice new features.
The better question : Why switch?
They are kawaii forks of Amarok? You don't like cute things user?
Thanks user

Nothing. I'm not a brainlet and can adopt to anything i want if there's a real need to it.
Clenching to something in tech field with all it's evolving rates is pointles.
Lel. Very nice my friend. You should also check out Qmmp since we're on the topic of great Qt music players. I use that on my toaster, and Strawberry on my big boy machine. Clementine and Strawberry are also both forks of the specific Amarok version you like (1.4), so you're right at home with either of them.
Winamp was recently updated so it is hardly obsolete.
WinDirStat is FOSS and basically an improved clone.
