I drunk wine last weekend and have felt like I had a hangover that lasted all week. I can have some beers and feel fine. Its a shame cause it tastes nice. thats why I drink too much.

i stopped drinking because i wanted to improve myself. what happened after that you can imagine. my social interactions plummeted. i became a recluse. i lose all the friends I had made and had hard time making new ones. my ills worsened. since i stopepd i have been in and out of jail, mental institutions, hospitals. my OCD (gone for 10 years) came back in full. i became depressed and pushed all my loved ones away. every night was like a new opportunity for some latent psychological or physiological problem to rear its head from the fertile ground of my sober body. I started getting visions of my father forcing himself on me but I couldn't bring myself to figure out if they were real or not. I became severely paranoid, always waiting for an ulterior motive behind the kindness of others. so I ended up in this dank, dark room, curtains always shut, caught in a foul nightmare. and you see these sanctimonious pricks on TV saying that alcohol is so bad, wa wa. I'm sick of pretending that I'm happy without drink. I don't have a problem, I have a lack of one. Being an alcoholic was the best experience of my life, as you see, life is a total joke. It's time to crack open a brand new 500ml bottle of Smirnoff and drink it straight while I watch the new Scorsese flick. Hopefully I'll burn out my liver and die before I can ever suffer unhappiness again. Salut brothers. What a life.

You should probably start regulating a little better to be safe, because people who blackout frequently represent a smaller subsection of drinkers and have a tendency to die in awful ways, and often develop lengthy arrest records. Be careful. A good idea is to drink a standard cup (8oz) of water between each drink, or to have no more than one drink every 45-90 minutes. In my teens and early 20s I blacked out once a week or more, and while it led to a lot of fun, I'll never remember a good deal of it, and it resulted in an equal amount of trouble.
